Ten was nervous. He wanted to wake Johnny up, but he for some reason couldn't bring himself to do it.

Johnny looked peaceful from what Ten could see. His dark brown hair fell just off his face, his eyelids were beautiful when closed; his sleeping self overall was adorable, and Ten couldn't help but point that out.

His eyes traveled from Johnny's eyelashes to his cheeks tinted with pink and finally to his lips, plump and slightly parted, further realeasing that stifling smoky scent.

It was admittedly a pretty sight, one that Ten figured he'd admire for a while.

It was then that horror struck, and quite literally.

There was the blinding flash of lightning briefly followed by roaring thunder, which scared everything holy out of Ten.

He shouted on impulse and felt Johnny's head rise from his shoulder.

The shock and adrenaline that flowed through his body rushed up to his cheeks, flushing them red and bringing tears to his eyes. He didn't mean to cry, no, it just started happening and he couldn't really do anything about it.

Johnny stared over at the tears rolling down Ten's cheeks and froze. Was this boy really crying in front of him?

He saw Ten clutch the left side of his chest, above his heart, and tried to catch his breath. Johnny rested his hands on Ten's shoulders and forced him to look him in the eye.

"Hey hey, what's wrong?" He asked,

Ten didn't answer; he didn't know what to tell him. That he, a grown adult male, got this scared because of a loud noise? He'd rather not say that.

Johnny didn't want to make him uncomfortable, so he decided against touching Ten's face. Instead, he rubbed the latter's shoulders and back, muttering comforting words in hope that he would calm down.

It didn't take long, it's not as though this were a panic attack or anything. 

Ten eventually wiped the last of his tears from his eyes and sighed to himself, forgetting temporarily that Johnny was even there.

"What was that about?"

Ten fiddled with his thumbs, "I...got...got scared..." he said in almost a whisper,, too ashamed and embarrassed to say it any louder.

However, Johnny heard every word. He softened immediately.

And then it hit him. How could someone so cute be seen stripping the night before? The realization led to further questions, ones that he hoped to soon find the answer for.

"Cute," Johnny said aloud, completely oblivious to the word that came out of his mouth.

Ten's eyes shot up and met Johnny's, quickly averting upon contact. "I-I'm not cute..."

Johnny looked over at him and hummed, but Ten just told him to shrug it off. They sat in silence for a brief minute before the older male somehow conjured up another conversation topic.

"Chittaphon," he said to get the other's attention. Their eyes met again but they didn't gaze away this time. Ten looked up at him with the most innocent and interested look Johnny had ever seen. "Are you a stripper?"

Ten felt as though his world had fallen apart with those words. He had nothing against strippers, heck, he worked with them every night. He just couldn't seem to muster the fact that Johnny thought he was one.

"No no, I uh...I was hired as a waiter...they just made me do that because no one else was there..."

Johnny smirked, realizing how flustered he made the boy. "I just didn't know, no need to get worked up about it."

Ten let out an inaudible sigh and sat back.

He could hear the excessive patter of raindrops showering down on the window and found it slightly somniferous. His urge to sleep made him curious; could he just fall asleep now? Sure, Johnny had proven himself to be very kind, but there was always a chance that he could do something to him.

"What time is it?" Ten asked.

Johnny checked his watch and looked back over. "Around 3 now, why?"

"Can I go home?" He said in a small voice.

"I'm sorry, can you repeat that?"

Ten took a deep breath. "C-can I go home?"

Johnny eyes stared back at Ten's, and the Thai boy watched as the typical peppy glow drained from his face. "O-oh, yes of course. It's still raining a lot, though. Should I drive you there?"

Bashfully, Ten nodded.

The two spent the next few minutes gathering up Ten's clothes and extra things Johnny needed.

They sat in the Subaru in complete silence as Johnny drove. The only sound was the rain from outside and the shifting of Ten as he pointed in which direction to go.

It took about ten minutes to reach the destination.

Johnny laid back in his seat and watched as Ten got out of the car, very slowly walking up the stairs of the complex. He couldn't help but notice how cute his backside was from this angle.

Ten gave him a shy smile and waved as Johnny shifted the gear and began to drive off. It really pained Johnny to do so, as seeing the younger male had already made him so happy.

I'll see him at work. He thought to himself, trying to keep his spirits high.

As he slowed to a stop at a red light, he felt his phone buzz in his pocket. Pulling it out, he accepted the call and put the phone up to his ear.

"Younghee? What is it?" Johnny asked.

"Youngho! Oh my gosh, they called me in for an extra shift just now but I can't leave Jaeho at home alone. Can you drive over here and pick him up so I can go in?" He heard his sister exclaim over the phone.

Johnny sighed. Tonight would be his second night of work and he already had to use a personal day. "Fine, when will your shift end?"

"They said around midnight, would that be okay? I mean, Jaeho would probably sleep at eight if you tucker him out."

Johnny hummed. "Alright, I'm heading over now, noona."

"Thank you so much. I'll pay you for this one. How about 40,000 won and a pack of cigarettes?"

"Sounds good. I'll see you soon."

He sighed to himself again and fumbled around in the armrest cartridge for a cigarette. He might as well smoke one now before he had to spend eight hours with a four year old.

He buried his head in his hands and almost hit the horn as he lowered himself.

Why on Earth did he ever think he could pull this off?
