The final match starts in 24 hours, search flights have been flying constantly to find Ryo
They will need him for the match, finally a familiar voice over the radio,
Ryo- hey bois! Ya miss me?
Ryo's spitfire mk 18 showed itself, he had barely cleared his dive and got lost, the fight had disoriented him and had to land in a field, after getting fuel, he took off again and flew home.

8hours until the final match,
First briefing

Ryo- good morning chaps, today is the day that counts the most, 99 squadron to the north, the strategic and tactical bombing unit will be joining us today, as will the ground attack squadron of 164, our goal is to support maples ground units and keep saunders occupied, they will most likely be bringing P-47 thunderbolts to take out our tanks, we must kill them before we can support our own units, we are expecting heavy flak, even basic shrapnel can send you home. Today there is no room for casualties, we need every plane we've got.

The rendezvous point is 20 nautical miles to the north of the AO, we got a long flight to get there, about 200 nautical miles away in northwestern Ontario.
Briefing end
On the flight line, typhoons are prepped, 2 1000 pound bombs and 6 RP-3 rockets with HEAT warheads, and a centreline droptank, another modification to allow maximum ordnance at longer ranges

All the spits are equipped with droptanks as well.

Engines started, tanks topped, ammo belts checked, bombs and rockets armed, 102 would be bringing 30 aircraft from A squadron, 25 from B squadron, 16 from 164 and 20 Wellington bombers from 99 to the north, their job was suppressive bombing, like a large artillery barrage.

MATCH START

All air forces were at the rendezvous, waiting for the command to attack, the Wellington bombers from 99 squadron went in and dropped their 4000 pound cookies, they took heavy fire from P-51 mustangs, A squadron was called in, split in 2, half of them went to engage the p-51's harassing 99 squadron, and the other half was sent to engage the p-47s bearing down on maples tanks.
With all of Saunders p-51s engaged with A squadron and 99 squadron bombers, B squadron had free reign to rain death and destruction on Saunders ground forces, although all of the maple aircraft wouldn't be able to hang around very long, the flight to get here was very long and they need fuel in reserve to make it home, although Saunders had the numbers advantage, maple was better trained in the air, but not on the ground, so maple heavily relied on its Air Force to survive, which really worked. Maple took a decisive victory thanks to the amazing work that all 3 local cadet squadrons performed, maple chose 102 to be its official "away team Air Force" meaning that for all of its future matches away from home, 102 would travel with them.
All of the tank commanders Of maple and the squad commanders of 102 met up for dinner to celebrate the victory.
