Tessa was the only company I had for the day today.

Y/n offered to help a relative of hers move in, while Paige and Harrison were out.

'Making moves already I see..' I said to myself with a smirk. I couldn't help but wonder what those two were up to.

I continued to lay down on the couch, watching TV while patting Tessa. I couldn't pay attention to what was playing though, too many thoughts filled my mind. Thoughts about Y/n.

There was something about her that seemed so appealing to me. I can't put my finger on it. She just seems so, down to earth and true to herself. A humble person with a good heart. I know I only knew her for a few days, but I could tell she wasn't fake. She was so genuine. She's someone I'd be more than happy to be friends with.

Speaking of which, maybe I should introduce her to Zendaya and Jacob. They'd get along really well. Spider-Man Far From Home was showing in cinemas now.

'Maybe I could invite Y/n to watch it with me.' I thought to myself, even though I had already seen the movie. I just wanted to spend more time with her. Something about her drew me towards her even more.

Before I could think any further, I heard a series of knocks on my door.

"Peter-Man!" The voice called, and I immediately knew who it was. I rushed to the door, being followed by Tessa.

"Jacob!" I announced, opening the door. I welcomed him in by moving aside, allowing him to enter. I shut the door and locked it after he was inside. Tessa jumped on him, as he bent down to pat her.

Jacob stopped petting Tessa and looked around as if searching for something. "Where's Haz?"

I made an 'O' shape with my mouth in retaliation, before a smirk replaced it. "He's out with a girl."

"Ooh! The man's found someone, I see." He responded, smirking. We both laughed while walking to the living room, getting ready to watch whatever was on TV.

Before I could switch on the TV, Jacob spoke up.

"I see you've found someone too." He said mischievously, catching me by surprise.

"What-"

He cut me off by shoving his phone in my face. "I see that winking emoji in the caption, Tom." Jacob could only laugh. "Also Harrison's been filling me in."

I sighed.

'Of course.'

I didn't respond. Instead, I turned on the TV and tried focusing my attention on what was playing on screen. Tessa jumped up on the couch next to me.

Even though my eyes were glued to the screen, my brain wasn't taking in anything that was showing. I couldn't pay attention to the various pictures and sounds coming off of the screen and speakers. Everything was just a blur and muffled noises.

"So, Y/n huh?" Jacob started. "When can I meet her?"

I paused to think.

'When can they meet..?'

"Could you set that box over there please?"

I nodded and set the box I was carrying down where they asked. I quickly got the last few boxes out and carried them all at once, catching my cousin by surprise.

"Ah! Y/n that's too much!" Faye's eyes widened at the sight of me carrying more than one box. She ran to assist me with the boxes.

Faye would always treat me as if I were her little sister or child. I've always looked up to her. She was my oldest cousin's wife, so she was about 10 years older than me. The two have been married for about 4 years now, and still don't have any kids. Even more their marriage, when they were going out, they'd treat me like I'm their child.

I guess that's where I got what Paige likes to call, my 'Mother-side' from.

Suddenly, I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Hey, everything alright?" Faye asked carefully, concern laced in her voice. I slowly placed the box I was still holding down, and turned to see worry written all over her face. I panicked.

"Hm? Oh yeah! Of course!" I quickly dismissed with a nervous laugh. "Sorry for worrying you. Just thinking about some things." I sighed, as we both sat down on a couch we had moved into the house.

"Wanna talk about it?" She encouraged, despite my dismissals.

"I was just thinking about how you and Matt would make amazing parents." I said with a small smirk when I saw the tint of pink slowly spread across Faye's cheeks. To be honest, they'd make the most beautiful babies on earth. Faye sighed before sinking further into her seat. She turned to me.

"You know, you'd make a good parent yourself." Faye looked into my eyes.

'She's being serious..'

"Have you found anyone?"

I gulped. "Kind of..? Not really." I admitted. I could've said no, but I'm a hopeless liar. Sure I wasn't with anyone, but I had a crush. A genuine one, not just a celebrity crush.

Faye's eyes lit up. "Really? Who? Are they cute?"

I couldn't help but laugh. "God you sound like Paige." Faye laughed. "If I told you, you wouldn't believe me."

"Oh really now? What are you, going out with Tom Holland now?" She said with a scoff. I choked, causing Faye to look at me in disbelief.

"YOU'RE DATING TOM HOLLAND?!" She shrieked, eyes wide.

"No no no!" I flailed my arms around in panic. "I mean we're friends now but nothing more!" I tried to reason. I explained the story to Faye, causing her to nod in understanding.

"Wow.. My cousin-in-law might be dating Tom Holland." She said with a tear in her eye. I shook my head and laughed. We continued to talk and catch up like we had been doing for the whole day.

I missed this. Talking to Faye. Her and Matt, my cousin, only moved into England recently, all the way from New Zealand. They visited two years ago, but I hadn't seen them since. We would call and message, but that was different to seeing each other in person.

Time passed and we were still talking. Matt had arrived home, and I felt happy.

My mind though, still kept thinking about Tom.
