"I don't know what in Wall of Maria did Hanji do to convince you, but it's not gonna work for me." You say.

"You think this is some kind of joke, (l/n)?" Levi asks, scowling.

"I'll be honest, yes." You say.

"I thought for sure you'd help, but thanks anyways brat." He replies, storming off.

"Why didn't you accept?" Hanji asks from beside you, a little surprised.

"Hanji, stop playing pranks please." You say, sighing.

"I'm not, (f/n). Do you actually think shorty would be the type to joke around about saying his life is at risk?" Hanji says, being serious for the first time.

"Gee, I never thought of it that way. Now that I think about it, it does make sense. What am I to do? I've got two people who asked beforehand." You contemplate.

"You make the decision, just follow your heart." She says, smiling and walking away.

"But my heart doesn't talk, Hanji!" You yell.

"What do I do?" You ask Mikasa, who was sitting beside you.

"If I were you, I wouldn't go with Eren." She says.

"Why? So that you'll get him all to yourself?" You ask, rolling your eyes.

"So that I get to protect Eren." She says.

"Of course, you'd say that. Why do I even bother asking advice from you?" You sigh, scratching the back of your neck slightly.

"Well, I'll take my leave then." She says, standing from your bed.

Mikasa made her way to the door and went out of your room. You thought deeply for a moment, faces of the three men flashing in your mind. Suddenly, the door creaked just enough for you to snap out of your trance.

"Why don't you ask them why?" Mikasa asks, head peeking from the door.

"Mikasa, you're a genius!" You exclaim.

"I was expecting you to say something along the lines of 'that's the most useful thing you've said today'." She replies.

"Whatever you want." You shrug, walking past her.

And with that, Mikasa was left standing by your door. First, you made your way to the library where Eren was accompanying Armin.

"Hey Eren, can I talk to you for a sec?" You ask, whispering.

"Sure, what's up?" He whispers back.

"Why do you want to go with me to the party?" You ask.

"Because you're the closest one I have, next to Mikasa though. At least when I go with you, it wouldn't be so awkward." He smiles.

"Hmm, great. Thanks!" You say, heading out.

One down, two more to go. Next up, you looked all around for Bertholdt. As you roamed around the headquarters, you finally spotted him sparring with Reiner. You called him over, waving at the same time. You weren't able to catch Reiner's cheeky smile, as Bertholdt made his way to you.

"Y-yes, (y/n)? I-is there something you n-need?" He stutters a bit.

"Actually, I just wanted to know why you asked me to go with you to the party." You said.

"U-uh, I-I just think that u-uh, you're really n-nice. A-and you're pretty too. I-I don't know who else t-to ask." He stutters, cheeks burning red.

"Oh thank you, that's so sweet of you. I'll see you around!" You smile at him and walk away.

Two down, one more short trip to find the last person. You walked to his office, footsteps a little silent. You knocked on his door, and said the usual statements. As you entered, you sat down and he waited for you to speak.

"I just came to ask something." You said.

"What is it?" He asks.

"Why do you want me to go with you?" You ask.

"Tch, do I have to repeat it? My life is at risk, you don't have to be with me the whole time. I'm just asking for one dance." He says, slightly annoyed.

"Oh, okay. In that case, I'll accept Eren's invitation then. I'll just dance with you, and enjoy the party." You say, stading up and walking away.

You closed the door behind you and walked back to your room. As you left, Levi couldn't help but sigh. He shook his head and went back to what he was doing.

"Thanks for accepting, (y/n)." Eren says, smiling at you.

"No problem, I'll see you tomorrow!" You say, waving.

You both separated ways, Eren walking back to the dorms with Armin alongside. They began to talk and Armin couldn't help but be curious. So, he finally decided to ask Eren.

"Why did you ask her in the first place?" Armin asks.

"Someone told me to do it." He says.

"Who is it?" Armin asks.

"I'm afraid I can't tell who." Eren replies.

"O-Oh, I see." Armin replies, even more curious.

Meanwhile, Hanji was walking over to Levi's office. She knocked on the door, entering the room without waiting for a response. The said man was busy with paperwork, and so Hanji slammed her hands on his table, catching his attention.

"What do you want?" Levi asks, looking at her.

"She accepted Eren's offer just a while ago." She says.

"I know, she was here when she told me she'd go with him." He replies.

"So, what will you do now?" She asks.

"That's not a big deal to me, one dance is enough. I just need Erwin to be away when that time comes." He says.

Hanji grins widely,

"Leave that to me."
