"Wait, Levi. Why can't I know now?" You question.

"I have something more important to say." He replies.

"What do you mean? That titan that we just saw, how could something be more important than that?" You started to raise your voice.

"No, that's not what I meant-"

"Well, what reasons do you have? Lives were endangered and-"

"Will you just listen to me?!" He shouts unexpectedly, causing you to fall silent.

You watched as he clenched his fists, but he immediately relaxes. You let out a small sigh and you nod, letting him go on further with his explanation.

"That stupid titan is not my main priority, okay?" He says, kneeling down in front of you so that you were in eye to eye level with him.

"Okay." You whisper.

"I'm concerned about you." He says, looking at you.

Your head instantly perked up, unsure if you heard him right. Your eyes widened, blinking several times. Why would he be concerned about you in the first place?

"Pinch me, I must be dreaming..." You mutter.

"Stop telling me what to do, brat." He says, pinching you.

"Ouch, I was just kidding!" You whine.

"Choose your words wisely then." Levi replies.

"I mean, I know it was gonna take forever... but I didn't think forever would be so soon." You blurt out.

"What?" He asks.

"Nothing!" You reacted, covering your mouth.

"I heard you, brat. I know you like me." He teases.

"Well, excuse me for having such a big head." You tease back.

"Whatever." He says, patting your head and standing up.

"Wait, I'm not done talking to you." You say, reaching for his hand.

"Just get some rest, we'll talk later." He says, fixing his cravat.

"But-"

"I love you."

And everything went black.

You woke up to an empty room, the ceiling the first thing you saw. You slowly sat up as you rubbed your eyes, looking around you. You were inside the infirmary. You brought your hands to your head. Was it all a dream?

"(Y/n)!" Sasha shouts, running through the doors.

"Hey Sasha. What happened?" You ask, confused.

"Well, Levi said he loves you and-"

You suddenly froze in place as Sasha continued to ramble about what happened. The memory burning in the back of your mind, feeling your cheeks heat up. You could feel yourself passing out again and you held your head.

"Oh no! Don't pass out again! It's okay." She panics.

"I have never been so embarrassed in my entire life." You state.
