-"STELLA! YOU'RE GOING TO be late!" Steve yelled up the stairs. This was the fourth time that he had called her down this morning. Silence was the only response he got.
The flustered older brother stomped upstairs and knocked sharply on his sister's closed door.
"Stella! Open up!" He shouted between knocks.
When she didn't answer, he swung the door open to find no Stella, but an unmade bed.
"That's funny, she always makes her bed," he thought with a gulp.
Maybe she went early.
