Chapter 3

*Your Pov. A few days later*

I was sorting out Michaels schedule calendar when I heard a tap on my desk. I looked up to see Andy

"Hey Y/n" He smiled at me

"Hi Andy" I smiled back

"Sooooo... I was wondering...what are you doing on Saturday? Because I know this amazing sushi place not far from here" Andy leaned forward on the desk

I slowly lost my smile. I didn't find Andy attractive. I wasn't too fond of his personality either. But I was horrible at telling someone No

"I-uh-dont know. Saturday is so far away" I nervously chuckled

"It's tomorrow" Andy slightly cocked his head to the left

"R-Right. But...tomorrow seems so far away...When you're busy living in the now. Ya know? So...I don't know..yet" I said

"You have absolutely no idea what you're doing tomorrow? On your day off?" Andy asked me

"I-uh-" I began to make up a lie but was suddenly interrupted by Jim. He put his hands on Andy's shoulders and smiled at me

"Hey guys! Andy, gotta minute?" He asked Andy

"I was actually bus-"

"Great! So I was thinking of joining an acapella group. One down at my...church" He pulled Andy away from the desk as he spoke

"Really!? Wow, Tuna!! That's great! Let's go into the back room and hear your voice!" Andy clapped and took off for the break room. Jim looked back to me and smiled

I mouthed the words "Thank you" to him as he followed Andy

*Few hours later. Lunch Time*

We all sat in the break room together for lunch. Stanley, Creed, and Meredith sat at the small round table closest to the wall

Dwight, Jim, Phyllis, and I sat at the table in the middle of the room

Oscar, Angela, Kevin, and Andy sat at the table closest to the door. The rest were eating lunch somewhere else

"How do you like it here so far?" Phyllis asked me as she sipped her pop through a straw

"I love it! The atmosphere here is so wonderful. And you guys have been so great to me" I smiled as I picked up a small pretzel from the bag

"Still no idea what you're doing tomorrow?" Andy asked me. He sounded a little annoyed

"I-Uh-"

"She's gonna be with me. I'm taking her on a tour of Scranton" Jim quickly said. He nudged my foot with his to tell me to play along

"Yeah! I totally forgot about that! We planned that on my first day here" I nodded

"What about Sunday?" Andy asked me

"Taking her to Scranton Lake. She's never seen it before" Jim shrugged

"Yep" I said

"And Monday after work?" Andy kept pushing

"She clearly doesn't want to go out with you, Andy. She's into Jim" Oscar said

"No. Jim and I are friends. I haven't met anyone else since I moved here...so Jim has been kind enough to show me around" I smiled

"Show you around his bedroom" Kevin giggled

"Nope. Not that" Jim said

"Ew, Kevin!!" Angela scoffed
