*The next day*

Jim strolled up to my desk and leaned forward so he was close to my face

"Hey" He said. His cool minty breath broke me from my work. I looked up to him and smiled

"Hey" I said as I leaned back in my chair. Jim didn't say anything he just stared at me

"Do you need something?" I chuckled and raised an eyebrow

"Nope. I just really like staring at you and it's kinda hard to do that from my desk" He said. I giggled and made a goofy ugly face

"There's that beautiful face I love" Jim joked. I shook my head and laughed at him

"Get a room" Dwight scoffed as he walked up to my desk and handed me some papers

"Technically we're in a ro-" Jim began to speak but Dwight put his hand up to silence him

"If you say 'technically we're in a room' one more time, I'll feed you to my goats" Dwight huffed. I giggled and took his papers to make copies for him. As I was at the copier I noticed Jim whispering to Dwight but couldn't hear anything that was said. Maybe that trip helped them out too and they have more trust for one another. Dwight looked back to me and then looked at Jim again and nodded

"Are they talking about me??" I asked myself. I slowly walked back over and tried to catch the end of the conversation

"Yeah, so tomorrow then" Jim said. His eyes caught me and he stopped talking. Dwight followed Jim's gaze and turned to me

"Thank you" he said as he grabbed the papers and walked back to his desk. I raised an eyebrow and sat back down.

"What were you guys whispering about" I tried to sound not so interested in it

"Nothing. Just work" He shrugged. My phone rang and I eyed Jim's suspicious smile as I answered it

"Dunder Mifflin, this is Y/n speaking, how may I help you?"

"Y/n, honey!!" I heard Mrs. Sargent on the other end of the line

"Oh! Mrs. Sargent!" I gave Jim a panicked look

"I thought I called reception?" She said

"Y-You did! I was just walking by when the phone rang and the receptionist was in the restroom" I chuckled. Jim gave me a smile and two thumbs up

"Oh, well I wanted to speak with you anyways. I want to have a get together! We can go out to eat after you both get off of work" She excitedly said

"I, uh, Jim and I are busy. I'm sorry" I said

"You have to eat! You're carrying a baby after all! You can make time for dinner. Meet us at my favourite restaurant. You know the one" She giggled and hung up before I could protest. I sighed and hung the phone up and looked at Jim

"Looks like Mr. And Mrs. Halpert are having dinner with the Sargents tonight" I said. Jim shrugged

"At least we won't have to worry about making dinner" he smiled and then winked at me. God he was perfect.

I was dreading the end of the day so I tried to get Michael to force me to stay late. But as a receptionist, I don't really have any reason to do overtime

So I began cleaning the office. I mean really cleaning. I took all of the supplies off the shelves and rearranged them, four times. I dusted every single inch of the office and when 5 o'clock came around, I was just emptying the fridge to clean it out

"It's 5. Time to go home and make sweet beautiful babies with Jim" Michael said as he had a wide grin on his face

"Ew. Please don't say things like that" I said as I placed a container on the counter and stared at the empty fridge
