There was a long uncomfortable silence after I told Aizawa what All Might had told me “You can’t possibly have heard him right.” He looked off to the side for a minute a look of confusion on his face, “All Might is supposed to encourage people not to turn them down.” he mumbled after a while, “I know that it’s hard to believe and without a lie detector quirk there's no real proof that what I say is true, but just know I have no reason to lie.” I responded to his mumbling statement, He looked up at me eyes wide for a second then back to the look that he had when he came in, “We do have a lie detector quirk, I’ll call him.” I looked at him shocked at first but then nodded rapidly “He has to take your statement anyways, I’ll be back” responded Aizawa leaving the room. As he walked out my mother rushed in “IZUKU!” She again tackled me into a hug crying. “It’s okay mom I’m here and I won’t leave you.” I spoke to her softly and calmly, she looked at me through her tears, “Why?” She asked one simple question, but the question spoke more than a thousand words. Looking at her I didn’t know what to say, She nodded to me giving me a soft encouraging smile. I looked at her for a long time just trying to decide what I should tell her, finally, I decided on one thing. “People should never meet their idols Mom.” her expression turned cold for a second then faster than I could blink she was looking at me with concern again. “Was there any other thing that caused this Izuku, Was I a bad mother?” Her eyes started to water and tears began to run down her face. I looked at her shocked for a minute then started crying myself,” No, Mom you were the best mother I could ever ask for but the bullying and then finally what All Might said I just didn’t know what to do and it just happened.” I looked at her crying as I hugged her tightly. She was about to say something else but there was a knock at the door. “Come in” I responded to the knock, the door opened and Eraserhead and a man in a brown coat walked in “Good afternoon Miss. Midoriya and Mr.Midoriya, My name is Naomasa Tsukauchi, I’m a Detective with the Hosu Police Department. I would like to ask you a few questions regarding your earlier incident.” I looked at the detective and then back down to my mother, she nodded at me and gave me an encouraging smile letting me know it was okay. Slowly breathing in and letting it out I began the recounting the story of why I tried to commit suicide. “It was a normal day bullying was at a normal level the laughing and the name calling” I began calmly looking at the detective not daring to look at my mother, “It was all normal till the teacher announced that we had to start thinking about our futures,he then stated that it didn’t matter cause we all wanted to become heros. Kacchan jumped out of his seat and stated that 

the teacher shouldn’t lump him in with the extras because he was going to be the next number one hero.” I look at the detective seeing that he’s confused. “Kacchan is what he calls his childhood friend Bakugou Katsuki.” My mother supplies for me, nodding the detective allows me to continue my story. “ The teacher responded by flipping through some papers and announcing that Kacchan wanted to go to UA. Kacchan went on about how he passed all the tests and he was the only one that was going to go to UA from this shit school. The teacher cut him off and stated that I wanted to go to UA as well. Everyone laughed and Kacchan jumped at me, but was stopped by the teacher saying that he wouldn't want to report him and ruin his chances at UA, after that the day was normal until the end of school." I looked at them all as the detective was writing everything down seemingly word for word, my mother was just holding me tightly. "What happened after school?" Replied the detective calmly. "After the bell rang I was packing my stuff and Kacchan walked up to me asking what a notebook I had was, it was my hero analysis for the future no.13 he insulted me then blew it up with his quirk then he said and I quote "Do the world a favor Deku, end your worthless existence no one needs or wants you here, and hey maybe you might just get a quirk in your next life."" My mom gasped and covered her mouth. The detective looked at me "where's the notebook now?" The detective asked me curious about its contents, so I looked up at him. "It should be wherever they placed my bag." Looking around I spotted my bag across the room and pointed it out to him, the detective made a may I motion and I just nodded to him. He then stood up walking towards my bag unzipping it and pulling out the charred notebook. He walked back with the book in hand, sitting down and looking at it calmly. "The notebook being blown up is accurate, but that doesn't prove you saw All Might." The detective stated, " You have a lie detector quirk you know I'm not lying." I responded calmly, "We need more proof than just my quirk." The detective looked at me with something indescribable in his eyes. "Okay detective, flip to the last written page in the book." He flipped through the book finally getting to the last page, low and behold on the last page was All Mights signature in black marker.

Heyyyyy I'm so sorry for it taking so long to update I've been busy with work and school and everything else I wanted to get this out so much sooner hopefully after this week I can try to update regularly. Sorry again see you in the next chapter.
