We dropped Haon off and went to Jewook's house to check on him.
We greeted his mom and went to his room.
He was pale and stiff looking and had his headphones in, playing his piano game." Jay jumped into bed with Jewook, startling him quite a bit. Jewook screamed and ripped his headphones out of his ears. "What is wrong with you?!" Jewook yelled. "Just wanted to make sure you were okay." "So since I was, you decided to give me a heart attack?" "You don't look very well." I said to him. "Oh Heeji. Hey." Jewook composed himself a little upon noticing me. "I promise I look worse than I feel. I woke up at 5, barfing my soul up and shitting my pants simultaneously but I'm fine now." Jewook spoke calmly. "Ew." Jay said, cringing roughly. "We're glad you're feeling better. Take care of yourself and eat more fiber." I said, rubbing his shoulder and leaving without Jay.
I went to the car and waited for Jay.
When Jay got in the car, he looked at me questionably. "Why'd you leave?" "Because he was okay. I didn't need to be there." I shrugged. "You have a crush on Jewook don't you?" Jay asked me dryly. "No!" I whined, just wanting my love not to be brought up every other conversation.
Jay and I rode home in silence. Once we pulled into the driveway, he broke the silence. "You have to have a crush on someone." He whined. "Jay I haven't really thought about it. Is that okay? Can I not think about dating? Is that okay with you?" I snapped. "Honestly, no it's not okay." Jay said seriously. "Excuse me?" I asked him, still sitting in his car. "I want you to be happy. Is that okay? Can I want my little sister to be happy and in love? Is that okay?" Jay basically mocked me. There was a long pause between me and my brother. "I don't see why it matters to you if I'm in 'love or not'." I said blandly.
I walked into the house, wanting to get away from Jay for a bit because he's big tripping.
I went to my room to study and my phone began dinging repeatedly.
