What If I Fall Asleep Under The Sea?

Missiles in the distance brought a cacophony
Rumbling sounds of thunder creates a great melody
It whispers in the air like a broken symphony
Paired with the gray sky as they move hauntingly
.

In the water is a nice reflection
Bright red light as it sends explosion
I stand in awe amidst commotion
Why is that? I only have one emotion
.

My beautiful home is now sinking
Why should I mourn and go weeping?
When you can burst into a joyful feeling?
Since every pain would be fleeting?
.

Carpeted floors are now inhabited by fishes
To swim with them is now one of my wishes
The space of dark waters are not that vicious
At least they're warm if the fire touches its surfaces
.

Floors vanished as I float near the ceiling
Outside the windows are dolphins leaping
What if I beckon them to come reeling
Through the windows where waters are entering?
.

My home is almost under the sea
I wonder if rescuers can see
But I don't mind living here free
At least the red lights, I'll no longer see
.

What if I fall asleep under the sea?
Will I know how to shed a tear?
Would I discover what is fear?
So my emotion wouldn't be alone in a year?
.

What if I fall asleep under the sea?
At least mornings there, I would embrace
And mournings here, silence will replace
No more ashes flying before my face
.

What if I fall asleep under the sea?
At least the sounds of war will cease
Life there is calm and with ease
And finally, I will rest in peace
