Teaching A Bird Not To Fly

Blue is the rarest color in nature
The bird possesses this unique color
Its curiosity led it to an adventure
Flying so high to learn and explore
.
A man on a lookout saw the shine of blue
He beckoned the bird to come closer
The bird was trapped without a clue
The man denied that he was an abuser
.
The man provided the bird a beautiful home
The bird was fed, loved and cared
It doesn't need to fly again on its own
Their relationship was now repaired
.
The man and the bird sang songs together
Happy are they despite the gloomy weather
The bird grew and became the man's friend
Their peace and harmony continues to transcend
.
Every bird was born to fly
Not to live in a beautiful home called cage
Teach the bird not to fly
And the world loses a fraction of beauty to enrage
.
Every child is an artist
But once they grow up
How do they remain an artist?
How beautiful is the world when the bird is set free...
