What makes a mother a mother?
Perhaps, it's the way that she cooks
Or the way that she looks
.
Some say she must be kind
Beautiful in front and from behind
A woman that is hard to find
.
They say 'a mother is a friend'
To her children, her hands, she lend
And their troubles she always amend
.
Her love is strong and pure
In mortality, it's our cure
Through eternity, it can endure
.
Her presence is something I'll miss
To others, it's a wonderful bliss
To God, she is a giver of peace
.
Closest to God's love is that of a mother
It's an eternal calling like no other
It cannot be replaced by another
.
That's what makes a mother a mother
