I'm Glad You Left

From that special day when you embraced me
I was shocked with not much to say
When I look in the mirror
You're all I see
.
You entered into my life like a thief in the night
You forced yourself until you became a part of me
I tried to let go
But in the end, I learned to love you
.
Everyone have their eyes on me though
You're the oil and I'm the water
You're the salt and I'm the sugar
We don't blend well together
.
I thought it was love
But you're just a parasite to my system
It's hard to leave you
But it's harder to love you
.
I taught you the art of respect
But you taught me the art of shame
I taught you the meaning of love
But you taught me the meaning of pain
.
They judge me for having you when I chose to
They said it was unhealthy but I ignored
But then, you broke my confidence
And I tried to hide from people
.
They separate us like the white and colored clothes
Or like the weeds from the beautiful flowers
Destiny brought us together
But fate will tear us apart forever
.
To my pimple who loved me for months
It's time to bid you farewell
Now that you're gone
I'm glad you left
