"You're kidding right?" He said as he processed what I said and my jaw dropped as I processed what he said. "You're going to college...I'm only eighteen...you can't be serious." I stuttered out not knowing what to say.

"I guess not." He said and I could tell me was mad, "There's no way you're mad at me right now, we talked about this the other day. I thought you knew!" I said standing up and stepping away from him. He stood up also and we faced each other, "I just thought we were stronger than this. That you actually loved me." He yelled and I rolled my eyes and turned my back to him, "Of course I love you Collins but that's the exact reason I'm letting you go."

"Letting me go?" He said annoyedly. "You're not 'letting' me do anything. You're forcing me to leave you behind." He said and I rolled my eyes.

I could feel my eyes stinging but I refused to cry right now, "Goodbye Collins." I said turning towards him and stealing a glance at him.

His hands were latched behind his head and his eyes were squeezed shut, there was one tear falling down his face and with that image burned in my brain I walked swiftly towards the door.

I opened the door and right as I was about to step out of his room he caught my wrist, "Just one last kiss." He said and he leaned down, I caught his face in my palms and lightly pushed him back, "Goodbye Collins." I said and the pain in his face doubled. I walked out of his room and closed the door behind me, I walked a few doors down and grabbed Chloe's door before remembering that Gavin was with her. I froze and sighed before hearing a loud thud from Collins room and realized he had punched god knows what.

I held back my tears and kept my head high as I walked downstairs and outside to my car. I got in and sat down, I turned on my car and slammed my hands on my wheel a few times and taking a few deep breaths. Once I had calmed down I reversed my car out of the driveway and just started driving, I knew I didn't wanna go home and just be left alone with my thoughts so I just started driving around with my radio blaring. I screamed every lyric of every song that came on and for a few moments every once in a while I would forget what happened just a little bit ago.

I eventually pulled into my driveway and saw my mom wasn't home. I went inside and collapsed on the couch, I turned on the TV and put on some F.R.I.E.N.D.S reruns before I went to my bedroom and changed into sweatpants and a big hoodie. I was putting my hair into a messy bun when I heard my phone ringing from the living room.

I walked towards the living room and picked my phone up to see Chloe calling me, "So you guys broke up?" Was the first thing she said and I sighed as I walked back to my room with the phone pinned between my shoulder and my cheek.

"Yep." I said and she was silent for a moment, "Do you need the girls and I to come over?" She asked and I thought about it for a moment, "No, I'm okay. You might want Gavin to talk to Collins though. Chloe...he proposed when I broke up with him." I said and she gasped, "Shit." She said after a few moments and I agreed with her.

I looked around and saw some of Collins' clothes and miscellaneous belongings scattered around my room along with gifts from him and pictures with him. Not to mention the huge pink bear that sat in the corner of my room from one of our first dates.

"Well Gavin is talking to him right now, I'm going to go try and help. Text me if you need me hun, love ya." She said and I said my farewell as I hung up the phone. I looked around my room at all the things that reminded me of him.

I walked out to the garage and found two large cardboard boxes and a trash bag. I filled one box with things I would give back to him and the other I put stuff I would sell or donate and the rest I put in the trash like movie tickets I kept and some of the pictures, of course I kept a few of them but most of them I threw away.

I placed the boxes and the trash bag in the corner of my room deciding I would take his stuff to him tomorrow and that I would start selling stuff online and donating it over the next week or so.

I eventually just sat down on my couch and played games on my phone as the TV continued playing in the background. I was starting to doze off when loud knocking on the door snapped me back to reality. I checked the time and saw it was almost 4 am, who the hell was here?

I made sure I didn't have any texts from my friends to see if it was one of them but my phone screen was blank. The knocks came again but a little louder this time. I sighed and grabbed my phone and went to the kitchen first, I grabbed the biggest knife we had and went over to the door. I opened it just a crack and saw a man standing there, I didn't notice until this moment but it was raining out and he was dripping wet.

He was shivering and his teeth were chattering, "May I help you?" I asked and he looked at me, he looked to be about my age maybe a little older and he had dark black hair that was short to show off his small gauges and an eyebrow piercing. Tattoos poked out from his leather jacket and I continued examining him to decide if he was safe or not. "It's starting to storm really badly and I ride a motorcycle, I'm starting to slip and slide around and it's just not safe for me to continue to try to get back home in these conditions. Can I crash here, I'm really sorry I'll give you money or if I could even just stay on your porch." He said and I took a deep breath and thought about it.

He didn't look like too much of a threat but I wanted at least a few details about him before I let him into my house. "Give me your drivers license." I said and he gave me a funny look but still pulled it out of his pocket.

"Axel Jameson, 18 years old, and an organ donor...I trust you." I said handing him his card back and opening the door wider.
