I talked to you
Also the first time
You looked at me
Really looked at me
Your wide blue eyes stared so deep into me
The breath caught in my throat
I was afraid I would never speak again
So mesmerized was I
By the lilt of your voice
The look of your lips
The curve of your smile
We talked about simple nothings
Meaningless words strung into sentences that neither of us would remember
For we just liked each other's
Presence
