I never knew what fake was
Before I met you
You showed me real friendship
You see
I never had friends before
Just bullies disguised as classmates
You told me you thought I was pretty
You told me I was smart
You said you'd fix my broken existence
But I won't forget that day
How you grabbed my arm
And shouted for everyone in the hall to hear
That I was a worthless ugly little girl
With no future in sight
You laughed at my pain
My heart dropped like rain
I was dizzy with agony
You see
In that moment, you didn't just take my trust
You took with you all my confidence
And every bit of the kind girl I once knew
