•~No one's POV~• (Finally)

As Tord walked out. Edd felt a sadness run throw out him.

"He'll be fine." He said to himself.

Then he felt a small soft creature rubbing on one of his legs. He looked down at, Ringo, his cat. He picked her up and held her in his arms. She purred and cuddled in. Edd smile at her then walked over to his desk. He sat down putting Ringo in his lap and continued his work.

•~Tord's POV~•

I walked into my office only to see Matt standing there look all cheerful.

"So what did he say?" He asked.

"We're leaving immediately." I said while grabbing my bag, a few files, and a briefcase.

I walked out the door. With Matt following with his things. We finally get to the car and put our stuff in. I keep my bag close to me though. The car was a black limo with black widows that you would see celebrities in.

The driver gets in and starts driving. We all sat there in complete silence. I took out my phone. Then started to look at my texts and emails.

~*20 minutes later*~

We proceed to get out of the car and get on the plane as instructed. I was a bit disappointed to leave so soon but I stay serious. Matt on the other hand, was surprisingly quiet the entire time. Probably because he was looking at pictures of himself on his phone and taking selfies.

I rolled my eyes and sat down in a seat. Matt sat across from me. On the plane there were two seats facing each other with a table in the middle. Exactly like a private jet.

The plane started to take off all crazy like. Swerving, making tight turns, bouncing. I held on for my dear life almost falling out of my seat. Matt just sat there looking on his phone still not even noticing what the plane was doing.

~*An hour later*~

We have been in the air for an hour now. I looked out the window to see a war zone. People yelling, firing gun, and cannons. They weren't kidding when they said they were going into full on war.

The plane started to go down. I started to panic. But turns out we were just landing. I calmed myself down. "The plane is not crashing." I told myself as I was fully calm.

As the plane landed it was shaking and bouncing. I got a little concerned so I looked at Matt. Matt was looking out the window smiling. Then he looked at me confused. I was getting plane sick due to all the movement and stress.

"Are you okay, Todd?" He asked.

"I'm fine." I said while leaning back and closing my eyes. "It will all be over in a minute." I told myself.

Finally the plane landed and we got off without a incident. We then got into a army car and drove off. There were 2 soldiers in the car with us. One driving and the other one in the passenger seat.

"Are you sure your feeling okay?" He asked with a chuckle.

I was sitting there with a sick expression on my face. I felt like I was going to throw up. Luckily I didn't.

"I'm fine." I said when closing my eyes to calm down. Finally we got there. I felt so relieved. We got out and I stood there panting.

"FINALLY WE'RE OUT OF THOSE DEATH TRAPS!" I yelled with glee waving my fists in the air.

Matt tried to keep himself from laughing but he couldn't. He busted out laughing. I just smiled. Then someone came from behind us.

"You two must be our scientist. Sent from build 87?" The stranger asked. He had a white mullet, front hair pulled back. Round black glasses, black lab coat, white turtleneck, grey pants, black dress shoes, grayish navy eyes.

"Yes we are. I'm Tord and this is my assistant Matt." I said shaking his hand with a serious look on my face.

"I'm Mr. William. You can call me professor Will or Mr. Will. Which ever you prefer." He said shaking my hand back with a smile on his face. He looks like he was in his 20's like me.

"Hope you don't mind me asking, but how old are you?" I asked with a smile.

"I'm 24 and your 23. I know from your file." He said with a wink. "Right this way for your first assignment." He said with a smile before walking off. We both followed with our stuff.

He lead us to a office with a door on the right wall. "Here is your temporary office. The door on the right wall is your room. I hope you two don't mind sharing." He said with another smile.

I looked at him suspiciously. "No. We don't mind." I said with a small grin. Why is he smiling all the time? He's hiding something. I thought to myself. We put down our stuff but I still kept my bag.

"This way to your first mission." He said while walking away. We follow close behind. We walked through a laboratory with some scientists working. They looked at us and smiled then whispered to one another. Once we were close to the door all of them got up and started to follow us. It was really weird to me. But I decided to ignore it and keep following.

We then got to a heavy metal door. It looked like it was made out of titanium. Mr.Will stopped in front of the door and everyone got quiet. He then turned to me.

"Tord. Your first mission is to take care of and learn more about the most dangerous experiment in the entire business. Experiment 2377." Mr. Will said with a sly smile. "That is if you survive." He said looking at me with threatening eyes.

"What do you mean by "if I survive?" I asked with clear threat in my voice.

"The ones who have gone in there either, go in and come out dead or don't come out at ALL." He said with a cold smile.

"So Tord, are you up for this mission?" He asked smiling.

I slyly grin. "Up for it? I'm ready." I said with a challenging voice.

"Okay then." He opens the door and I walk in. There are cameras in the room. Outside the door there is a TV for them to watch me.

I walked in as the door shut behind me. There was only one light. It was in front of the door where I was standing. Other than that it was pitch black. The light wasn't too bright either. It was quite dim. So I could see anything very well.

"Hello?" I called out. I heard it echo and bounce off the walls. It was silent until I heard something with claws walking towards me. Then it stopped. I heard it sit down. I couldn't see a thing. But I could tell it was looking at me.

"Hello." It responded whispering.
