•Chapter 11• •City Trip•

•~Tom's POV~•

I slightly opened my 'eyes' as I slowly woke up. There were light everywhere. I sat up but then got a throbbing headache. I groaned due to the pain and laid back down.

"Someone's awake." I heard Tord say. I popped up hearing his voice then sunk back down when more pain shot to my head.

"How are you feeling?" He asked me, only taking his eyes off of the road for a second.

"My head is killing me." I respond groaning more. He chuckled and stopped at a red light.

"How much?" He asked picking up a bag and rummaging through it.

"I can't sit up without it hurting." I said looking over curious, to what he was looking for.

"Here." He said handing me a small white bottle that said, ibuprofen, on it. I took it and open the bottle. I looked inside and saw small brown pills.

"Take out 2 and swallow them. Don't chew." He said. I did as I was told, I took out 2 and closed the bottle. I plopped both in my mouth and swallowed them.

"What is it suppose to do?" I ask, looking over at him as he continues to drive.

"It should help with the headache." He responded not looking away from the road.

As I wait for the ibuprofen to kick in, I start looking out the window. So many lights and they're everywhere. The buildings where tall. Taller than anything I have ever seen. I see all these places with human food. They're almost everywhere you look and cars far as the eye can see. There are all kinds of sounds and smells. I hear cars beeping, sound coming from the weird light screens, that have pictures of food on them, and there are so many people talking and walking. The car come to a fast stop, making me go forward a little.

"Hey! Watch where your going!" Tord yells out the window and the guy standing in front of the car runs off.

"What was that?" I ask.

"Some guy just ran in front of the car is all." He responds as he continues driving forward.

"Does it happen a lot?" I ask looking over at him.

"Well, I mean kinda. In the city, yeah." He responds unsure but he keeps his eyes on the road. We were now silent. I sat up and my headache was gone. I smiled and looked out the window. So many wonders out there. I can't wait to explore them!

 •~Matt's POV~•

I got off the phone with Edd, saying our goodbyes. I was laying on the bed in me and Tord's 'room/office area'. I sat up and looked at the clock on the wall. 3:22 AM it read. I sighed and got out of bed. I walked over to the mini fridge in the corner of our room, I bend down and opened it, looking at it's contents. I reach in grabbing a bag of sliced up mango. I stand back up, closing the mini fridge door, and walk back over to my bed with the sliced mangoes. I sit down with my feet on the floor, opening the bag and eating it's delicious content.

It's been 3 hours sense Tord's escaped with the experiment. It doesn't seemed that anyone has noticed yet. Which is good for both of us. I slip another slice of mango into my mouth, when my phone started going off. I pick up my phone from the bedside table and answer it.

"Yello?" I ask.

"Matt! It's Edd. I know we just talked a minute ago but there's something you need to know about Will. He-" Then Edd was cut off. The sound of an alarm is all was heard before I blacked out.

Sorry it's short! I promise next chapter will be longer. This one was a bit rushed. ^^;
