Nico's POV

The month went by in a hitch without any complications with me being supervised and helping out in this dingy place which seems to fight back the residents, abetted by a cussing creature called a house-elf although Hermione said they weren't all like that.

Either way, I couldn't find what Lady Hecate meant about staying here might benefit me because I'm still under a lot of scrutiny. I IM Will two weeks ago, venting my frustrations but Will just sighed and said, "Well, it could be worse."

"Ever the optimist, huh?"

"That's how I work Angel," Will winked.

Not much happened at camp while I was away but Hazel sent her regards.

Now, I was lying in my bed with my eyes closed when an owl swooped into my room.

It was holding a letter which was weird. Then, from Hecate's knowledge, I realized that wizards' communication came from owls. Not modern at all.

It stopped short of me and narrowed it's eyes while clicking its beak disdainfully. Animals never liked me and the feeling was mutual.

Yet it was withholding its leg to me and I took the letter immediately so it could fly away without a backward glance.

I opened the letter which specified its details about my Hogwarts time and stuuf I need and to return an owl with my answer. Like I had a choice to begin with.

The door opened and Mrs. Weasley came out all in a jitter, muttering, "I can't believe it. I'm so happy." Then she saw me and smile, one of the only people who treated me normally and without prejudice.

"Hello, dear," Mrs. Weasley started, it used to make me uncomfortable but that's how she starts for everyone like Harry and Hermione. "You have your letter, I see. Well, I have to bring you with me to Diagon Alley to get your things."

"What about the others?" I asked.

"Only you," she smiled sweetly, "You need to be there to buy your first wand, alright?"

I sighed.

"So how are we getting to this... Diagon Alley?" I asked.

"Floo Powder," Mrs. Weasley said.

"Bless you?" I said questioningly.

"Oh, yes, Floo Powder is actually a form of transportation, dear. You pinched a bit of the powder into the fireplace, step into it and say out loud your destination. It will take you there."

Transportation through fire. Leo's going to love this.

Mrs. Weasley led me to the place and I did exactly what I was told, but well, let's just say I prefer shadow travel over fire travel any day. I arrived in some pub along with Mrs. Weasley.

"Let's get going, dear," she said, and with nothing to do, I followed her until we reached a brick wall.

She took out her wand and tapped a certain brick which made an archway come through which revealed a cobbled street that twisted and turned out of sight.

As they walked through the archway, it became a solid wall again.

"Welcome to Diagon Alley, dear," Mrs. Weasley said.

I was amazed, magic never ceases to amaze me. Plenty of wizards and witches were hustling and bustling over plenty of shops but... my senses were buzzing. It honed on to a marbled building.

"What is that, Mrs. Weasley?" I asked.

"Gringotts, dear, where wizards and witches keep their money. I need to stock up some and so do you, right dear?" Mrs. Weasley asked.

I nodded. A few days after my predicament, a screech owl landed to me with a letter and a key.

The letter was like:

I see that you finally found out about the existence of Hecate's pets. According to her and the Fates, it seems necessary that you join the wizarding community for the time being. In the event of that happening, Hecate set a vault for the demigods who might stumble upon her world one day. Do not lose sight of the mission regardless.

Yours truly,
Hades

The letter was all in Greek, which disappointed Ron who was trying to read it.

"What does it say?" He asked.

"My Father knows I'm living among you now, although he's been trying to hide it for years and sends me this key for my vault," I said calmly. I knew that they believed my Father was hiding my origin from me if I didn't know about wizards, so I used it as a couch for a lie.

Everyone nodded and that was that.

So, present time, we were going to Gringotts where goblins guard it. My senses were growing sharper by the second, and no doubt in my mind, a Horcrux is somewhere in here. Is this why Lady Hecate told me to stick around? I could have easily came here myself.

"We would like to go to these vaults," Mrs. Weasley said politely, handing out her key and me doing the same.

"Ah... I haven't seen this one in a long time," the goblin at the counter said, staring at my key, then staring at me curiously.

"Come on," He then beckoned and showed that the marble ended to granite one door away with a cart. We hopped into the cart.

It was the best roller coaster of my life.

We reached Mrs. Weasley's vault first and despite everything that happened, I was kinda sorry at the state of it. Mrs. Weasley was probably one of the only people in that household who treated me well. I wish I could repay her back.

It was my vault next and it was deeper down, way deeper and we reached a very old-looking vault.

"This looks like it hasn't been used for a thousand years!" Mrs, Weasley cried out in surprise.

She was probably correct and when the goblin opened it up, both of us couldn't help but gasp in surprise.

Riches filled up the entire vault. A cross between a gold mine and an ancient museum, but after my visit to Mrs. Weasley's vault, I couldn't help but feel entirely guilty. I just shoved the money as Mrs. Weasley explained the money value to me.

"The gold ones are Galleons, silver are Sickles and the bronze are Knuts. 29 Knuts for a Sickle and 17 Sickles for a Galleon, got it?" Mrs. Weasley said.

I tried to wrap my mind around it and nodded my head.

Mrs. Weasley headed toward the cart but I stopped her.

"What is it, dear?" She asked politely.

I handed a gold bar and said, "For intruding and your hospitality," I said, and I meant it.

But Mrs. Weasley backed away, "I can't, dear," she said and I could hear the other sincerity in it.

"Consider it for the troubles that I cause," I said.

"Even if your circumstances were unusual, it wasn't any trouble," Mrs. Weasley said kindly.

"I insist," I persisted.

A look crossed over her face and she took it.

The whole process took Mrs. Weasley an hour, to change the gold into money and putting it in her vault. Despite all that, Mrs. Weasley never let me out of her sight.

Which was a damn shame, because I needed just one excuse to get 'lost' and retrieve the Horcrux in this bank and get back to her.

Seriously, the curse Moody put on me is really off putting.

If I tried to shadow travel, I'll just end up back at Headquarters, wherever in Hades that is.

Afterwards, Mrs. Weasley was beaming.

"Come along, Nico, dear, it's time to shop," Mrs. Weasley was happy go lucky now.

I groaned. Shopping... I couldn't help but remember the times my sister, Bianca, brought me shopping.

This was not going to be fun.
