Chapter 18

I had to make this homecoming ask memorable i wanted her to remember this forever. I want this to be amazing but how the hell I was supposed to ask her. I wanted to be romantic. 

I made reservations at a really nice restaurant. It was by a beach. I get dressed and head to Valerie's house. I grab roses on my way. 

I pull into her driveway. knocking on her door. "coming" Valerie says i wait on her front porch. she opens the door. 

"holy shit you look beautiful"I say she's wearing a beautiful scarlet dress. "thank you"Valerie says taking the flowers. "I didn't know what your favorite flowers were"I say "it's okay I like the roses"Valerie says 

I open the door for her. "so where are we going"Valerie asks "well it's a surprise"I say "okay"Valerie says "I really like the dress"I say "well I wanted to look good"Valerie says "you always look beautiful no matter what"I say "aww"Valerie says smiling. 

we arrive at the restaurant. I open the door for Valerie she gets out. "wow this beautiful"Valerie says "only the best for you"I say "you really out did yourself"Valerie says we walk in. "reservation for randall"I say "right this way sir"the hostess says leading us to our table. 

Valerie sits and starts to scan the menu. "so you ready for your homecoming game"Valerie asks "yeah"I say "are you excited about the dance"Valerie asks "yes"I say I had really to keep myself calm I didn't want spoil the surprise I had set up. 

we order drinks and food after we finish eating I take Valerie out the the deck. "hayden why did you bring me out here"Valerie says "well I have another surprise for you Valerie"I say 

*play song* 

I take her hand "Valerie can I ask you something"I ask "yes"Valerie says "when I first saw you in math class I thought to myself this girl has to be mine and I thought you were the most beautiful girl in the world you're nothing like the other girls so Valerie will you go to homecoming with me"I ask "yes hayden I will"Valerie says 

"phew cause I was nervous"I say "hayden don't be I would have said yes anyway"Valerie says "really"I say "yes really"Valerie says smiling at me I kiss her. she kisses me back. 

"can I take you back to my house"I ask "sure"Valerie says. 

we walk back to my car. I drive home. 

I hold Valerie's hand the whole way home. we head upstairs to my room. I kiss her again. 

Valerie kisses me back our lips were sync. I didn't want to stop but I knew I didn't want overstep. 

I couldn't do that to Valerie I pull away. "hayden"Valerie says "I don't want to overstep okay I don't want to hurt you"I say 

"you didn't hurt me hayden you made me believe in love again you made realize that not all people are jerks you saw me as a just normal person. you put me back together. you didn't overstep and you're not hurting me."Valerie says 

"I did all that"I say "yeah crazy right I thought being alone and closed off was the best thing for me but being alone sometimes sucks because you don't have to talk to or someone to tell you that things are going to be okay"Valerie says 

"but you have me"I say "I know hayden I do have you and I am thankful for that"Valerie says 

"me too"I say "I think it's sweet that you want to wait a little"Valerie says she lays on my chest. I stroke her hair. pulling it behind her ear I like her ear piercing her nose piercing makes her badass in my book. I kiss her deepening the kiss. Valerie closes the gap between I hold her close. never wanting to let her go.
