Chapter 20

I wake up with Valerie fast asleep her head on my chest. she still looked beautiful and peaceful I didn't want to wake her up. "good morning"Valerie says "good morning"I say 

"I know this isn't a romantic setting but Valerie I had to stop myself from asking you this question so many times so Valerie will you be my girlfriend"I ask "yes"Valerie says I kiss her she kisses me back. "well good morning lovebirds"aunt heather says "aunt heather seriously"Valerie says "sorry to interpret your romance but breakfast is ready and hayden if you want you can stay for breakfast"aunt heather says 

"okay I am sorry I got annoyed"Valerie says "it's okay honey"aunt heather says. "your aunt is really nice"I say "yeah she is kinda like my mom"Valerie says grabbing a tee shirt. 

"weird question but you have any guy clothes"I ask "yeah I should I kept my dad tee shirts"Valerie says getting down a box. "so what were your parents like if you don't mind me asking"I say 

"I don't mind, they were kind, they cared ,and sometimes when I was sad my dad made it his personal mission to make me happy and my mom she would always have a plate of cookies. waiting if I had a bad day at school they wanted to make sure I was taken care of. if something ever happened to them so my aunt was my legal guardian and the house when it was sold the money was supposed to be in a college fund my parents had made sure my education was taken care and they even told my aunt what car I wanted to for my sixteen birthday" Valerie says 

"your parents sounded cool"I say "yeah they were cool I miss them a lot"Valerie says. she hands me one her dad's favorite football team tee shirts. "Your dad was into football"I say "yeah he was I always hated football my mom and I would do something else whenever my dad would watch football"Valerie says 

"sounds like he and I would get along"I say "oh my dad would have loved you"Valerie says "yeah  I bet"I say "my mom would have liked you too"Valerie says "well I think we should head downstairs"I say putting on the tee shirt "you look good"Valerie says "to breakfast"I say "to breakfast"Valerie says 

we head downstairs "hey guys"aunt heather says there a guy sitting at the table "who is this" Valerie asks  "well this Jim he wanted to come over for breakfast"aunt heather says "hi"I say "oh where my manners"Valerie says "Jim this my boyfriend hayden"Valerie says "well nice to meet you hayden"Jim says shaking my hand. 

"so Jim how did you meet my aunt"Valerie asks "well actually I was going to grocery store and I saw your aunt re stocking some shelves of nail polish and I thought she looked beautiful"Jim says  

"well I am guessing the date went well"I say "yes Jim is really nice"aunt heather says setting down French toast. 

"and you must be Valerie"Jim says "aunt heather must have told you a lot about me"Valerie says 

"yes she did"Jim says 

I was glad Jim and Valerie were getting along I grab Valerie's  hand  she meant the world to me and I didn't want let her go not ever. 

if I had surrender to anyone it would be Valerie because that girl can really make a long lasting impression.
