"Momma, she's awake, isn't she?" Nicola asked as she walked over to me with Seth holding her hand.
"Yes, she is Nicola," I said smiling. "But we can't meet her just yet," I said as Nicola walks next to me, Seth on my other side a cheeky smile on his face.
"She needs to feed first," Nicola answered right away.
"Yes, then once they've feed, we shall meet them," I stated smiling.
"But Bella has to go through Jake and I first before she meets you and Renesmee, to make sure she's okay," Seth said. Nicola stared at Seth blankly before her eyes went red and veins ran down her face.
"I can protect myself!" She growled.
"Nicola!" I warned my own eyes doing the same as her. "I was the one who decided this not Seth or Jake." I growled as we both had a standoff. "I'm not saying you can't protect yourself but we all need to make sure she won't go crazy, I trust Bella and I trust your strength but we can't be 100% sure something won't happen," I stated, and that is how the family came to see both my daughter and I glaring at each other.
"Oh well, if that's the case, sorry for doubting you and being a brat," Nicola answered, backing down, I nodded and looked at everyone.
"What?" I questioned seeing the shocked expression except from Kol and Bec's.
"How come you two aren't shocked?" Emmett asked looking at Kol and Bec's.
The pair looked to each other smiling and Kol spoke up. "Who do you think was able to make our brother the fearsome hybrid back down?" Kol questioned. "She's had some practice, also she had to deal with the fights between Elijah and Klaus when they fought for Tatia." Kol shrugged.
"Yep, she's the one you go to for when Elijah and Klaus fight," Bec's laughed and the family nodded in agreement.
"Who knew momma bear was always dishing out her motherly powers," Emmett laughed. I laughed as well before Seth ran outside with Jacob.
"She's back," I said smiling. We all gathered into the lounge room and sat around, I was brushing Nicola's hair as she sighed happily, her eyes closed enjoying the calm.
I look over to the hallway seeing Jacob and Seth run back inside. Bebe and Edward walk into the house, the whole family are there with Renesmee and Nicola, they turn to face Bella.
"Welcome to the family." Esme said smiling happily.
"You look amazing, Bella." Alice complimented as Nicola stood, and I stood as well, both of us going to Carlisle and I hugged him, while Nicola hid behind my legs, she was older but still tiny.
