Buckle up people. Cause this is a long chapter, so get comfy.

I'm not even kidding.

[(Y/N)'s POV]

"No. It's a illusion. Great, I'm hallucinating right now" Damian covered his face with his hands.

He really can't believe that I'm here?

"There is no way you could be alive" he kept whispering to himself.

I felt bad. The way I saw Damian's position made my feelings blue.

He was like a child who was going through their first thunderstorm.

He had his knees together and near his chest as he hugged himself.

"Damian" I called out as I walked closer.

"Damian, look at me"

"No, please. Stop" he whispered even more as he pleaded.

His voice was starting to break.

I stopped moving as I now stood in front of him.

"Tell me, am I an illusion?" I asked as I sat down next to him in the bed.

"Yes, now get out" he replied, ignoring the fact that he felt the movement in his bed.

Was he really thinking I was an illusion?

"If I really am one, tell me, can you feel this?" I challenged him as I wrapped my arms around him.

I felt him trembling, but he suddenly froze the second he felt my touch.

He quickly pulled away and stared at me for a few seconds before pulling me back.

"It really is you!"

No words could express the emotion that I was feeling as he finally accepted that it WAS me.

He was hugging me tightly, almost sucking the air out of me, but I didn't mind.

His confusion cause him to speak fast,

"Wha- how? I saw you. I saw the crash. How are you here? Can illusions be touched? Am I going crazy-"

All of a sudden it was as if my lips had a mind of their own as they crashed with his.

I felt him tense at the sudden action.

That was before he kissed back. I felt his hands cup my cheeks.

After a few seconds, we slightly pulled away.

"I'm not letting you go anymore. I can't lose you again" he whispered as our lips were still inches apart.

"You're just going to have to trust me" I replied as I enjoyed the warmth that Damian gave out.

"I gave you my trust back at the church. And what happened next? The aircraft came crashing down. You almost died!" He slowly raised his voice.

"But I didn't" I replied as I hugged him back.

Poor thing.

He must have been really scared or upset with my 'death.'

I get it, though.

He had a really bad mother and grandfather to raise him since he was little.

Especially when you're the heir of the league.

He had to be trained very well. Very hard.

"And I'm happy" I hear him whisper in my neck.

I smile as I closed my eyes and stayed there.
