(A/N): A TRIGGER fluff AU! Excited for this one~ It's a sort of kingdom AU~

Tenn sighed, shuffling through papers on his desk. Although his desk was always covered in paperwork - what else did one have to do when ruling a kingdom? - one letter in particular stood out.

His father wanted him to marry.

Tenn's father, the kingdom's previous king, wanted his son to marry. Tenn didn't think his father should have a say in the matter, since he'd left the kingdom to him at such a young age. He was still figuring out the problem of food and water shortages, since his father had been so keen on war and increasing their land, since their kingdom was so small and they had little of it.

However, Tenn had promised his people a mostly peaceful reign - only resorting to reluctant violence if they were attacked and he couldn't handle it diplomatically - and that was what he planned to do. The first thing he declared to do was increase their food and water, even if it meant giving up his father's painstakingly collected store of sustenance. He didn't mind if it was for his people, and they adored their young king for it.

Marriage to a demanding, spoiled bride of another kingdom would ruin all of his hard work to his people. Besides, he had declared to his people that he was married to the kingdom.

Other than that, he already had fallen in love and didn't exactly see the...     appeal in feminine looks and characteristics.

Tenn released his thoughts as someone knocked on his door. He laced his fingers together and said a quiet "Come in."

A tall, silver-haired man strode arrogantly into his office, planting his hands on Tenn's desk agressively as an even taller brunet shyly follows him in, closing the door softly.

"Your people in the south send their most heartfelt regards, brat," The silver-haired man snorts, throwing down a letter from his bag near Tenn's hands. He picks it up carefully, noting the signature from his lord of the southern lands. Before, during his father's reign, the lords of the nothern and southern lands of his kingdom were power-hungry warlords. Tenn replaced them with his own handpicked people who only had the people's best interests in mind.

"Gaku, don't call the king a brat!" The brunet said, fumbling with the clasps of his own bag. Tenn waves the protest away.

"It's alright, Ryuu," He said, putting the letter down and resolving to read it later. "I don't mind the brute." Gaku snorts.

Ryuu shot a worried look at the both before taking something out of his bag, preciously cradled in his hands. Tenn watched in surprised as Ryuu settled a light pink glazed pot small enough to hold in one palm with a flower nestled inside. The small, white flower was astonishingly pretty.

"There was a little girl who recognized us," Ryuu explained, closing his bag, "And she said she wanted to give this to her king."

Tenn smiled, brushing his fingers daintily over the petals. "Next time I pay a visit I'll have to thank her," He murmured.

Tenn caught Ryuu smiling and glared at him. "What?"

Gaku smirked, tilting Tenn's chin up with a finger. "You're so cute brat, smiling at a flower."

Tenn glared at him and squirmed, sensing more than feeling Ryuu go behind him. Despite his chair, Tenn felt Ryuu's hands settle on his waist hesitantly. Gaku smirked, calling Tenn's attention back to him.

It was just his luck he'd fallen for his two champions of the kingdom.

Tenn sighed, rolling over in his bed. It was evening now, and stars were shining into existence.

However, he couldn't sleep. Clucking his tongue quietly at himself, Tenn rose and opened his window.

He frowned. "Seriously," He said, "I expected more from you."

Gaku grinned, pulling himself up and sitting on Tenn's windowsill. "Doors are unreliable things," He said, shrugging. Tenn sighed, undignifyingly facepalming.

There was a soft knock on his door. Tenn sighed again. "Come in, Ryuu."

Ryuu took in the sight of Gaku on the windowsill and Tenn burying his face in his hands as he closed the door. "Is something wrong, Tenn?" He asked softly, crossing to pry Tenn's hands away from his face.

Tenn sighed again, leaning against Ryuu. "This brute came into my room uninvited," He said, turning fake teary eyes on Ryuu.

"He came in too!" Gaku protested.

Tenn turned his head to glare balefully at Gaku. "I didn't say you could come in though."

"Hmph." Gaku huffed as he slipped down from the windowsill, crossing his arms and stopping behind Tenn. "Brat. You weren't even asleep."

Ryuu looked down at him worriedly. "It's late, Tenn. You should be asleep."

Tenn looked away. "I couldn't sleep."

Gaku snorted. "His Highness, unable to sleep? Oh no, what a tragedy."

Ryuu sighed, pulling Tenn towards him. "You're still so young," He murmured, "Too young to rule."

Tenn frowned. "I've proved myself worthy already."

"All that stress isn't going to help you sleep, brat," Gaku said, and for once there wasn't any sarcasm in his voice. He drew circles between Tenn's shoulder blades, and muscles relaxed that he hadn't even known were tense. He sighed in relief, nearly collapsing with a sudden rush of exhaustion.

"See, Tenn," Ryuu murmured, "You need to relax."

Tenn hummed, eyes fluttering closed, as Gaku huffed in agreement. "Go lay down, brat," He said. Tenn wordlessly let them lead him to his bed, drawing the covers over him. Tenn heard the sounds of footsteps drawing away.

"Wait," He mumbled. The footsteps paused.

"Is there something you need, Tenn?" He heard Ryuu ask. He took a nervous breath.

"I'm cold," He mumbled.

"And what of it, brat?" Gaku asked quietly, almost softly.

Tenn opened his eyes to slits, demandingly holding out his arms. "So get over here," He demanded sleepily.

He heard Gaku chuckle and whisper a "So needy" before he felt the bed dip on either side. Two hands clasped his and drew his arms beneath the covers, and two warm bodies pressed against his. Tenn sighed happily, drifting into sleep's gentle black clutches.

When Tenn awoke the next morning, he felt the absence of warmth from his sides that had been present last night. Although his window was open, only warm air and soft sunlight entered.

He smiled. His champions would be back.
