Life Hurts
I got home around 10am going straight to my room as I heard the boys snoring on the couch.
"Hey Chilled do you kno-" I stopped dead in my tracks seeing Clark
"Dude!" I yelled, running over hugging him tight as he hugged back
"Missed you Amber" I nodded back, agreeing hundred percent
"It kills me to say this Amber but after getting to know your friends.. You aren't coming home with me" I pulled away looking at him silent
"That isn't your choice it's mine!" I yelled
"What is in Australia for you!?" he yelled back, he was right though. I didn't have an answer.. University wasn't for me and neither was a full time shitty job.. here I got to do what I loved..
"Clark is everything okay?" I turned around seeing a sleepy eyed Chilled standing in the doorway
"Chilled give us a minute.." I mumbled but he didn't listen he just stayed there as Smarty appeared behind him
"Amber.. I love you.. as a friend and as more but... you have to stay here.." Clark looked away
"Look me in the eyes and say that!" I grabbed his face pulling it close to mine
"He loves you more..." Clark whispered as I watched the tears fall down his face. I looked up at Smarty who was walking away. It couldn't be true.. if he loved me why did he always avoid this topic.. Why wouldn't he just say something?...
"He doesn't.. " I whispered back
"After he tried to fight me last night we got talking.. He has a lot to say but he is scared.. Just give him the chance..." Smarty tried to fight him... Yet they both didn't have a scratch on each of them..
I watched as Clark got up, grabbing his bag going to the door.
"I'll be back Amber.. I think we all need some time to ourselves..."
"But you wont... Dad said the same when he left.. And the same way too.. Do you not remember that day!?" I yelled, tears flooding down my face as Chilled wrapped his arms around me, holding me back.
"Goodbye..."
That was it... I had lost my best friend... All because I moved and Smarty fell in love with me... It was all my fault...
