The next afternoon, Jake's band has set up their instruments and starts practicing their gig. The music is smooth with the highlight becoming electrifying along with the repetitive snare of the drums.

After the rap, he translations to his electric guitar solo is quickly approaching while his fingers quickly gliding the strings of his electric guitar making every note last then ending the bridge with a long note.

Crystal and Butler, stumbles upon the band from their early rehearsal. Butler grows concern if she is uncomfortable about the hiphop/rock song which the group is currently playing.
He looks at Crystal who has the opposite effect; she is rather interested and can't stop being engaged with the upbeat music.

"Why...this marvelous?! Do you not see the passion that Mr. Cadence is giving off?"

"Ah, yes and it is...certainly different from what you are used to Mistress."

The energetic song ends as the band gathers around Jake to review the demo camera and critic what improves should be done.

"That was fantastic!" Crystal voice has startled them. "Your music is so...different from what I am used too. It is so...lively and full of energy."

The cuteness of her outburst is enough to rattle the easy going and sway Bass Guitarist while he tries his luck to woo the classy lady.

"Well, if you were that impressed, then why don't you come to our gig. It's later tonight, if you're interested...because I would love to see you there..."

"Ah, a concert!"

"We start playing at 9:00pm."

After a befit exchange, Butler assorts Crystal off stage where the two make their way back to her private hall to set up her violin. Butler assists her then he speaks softly and is keeping a close eye on her.

"Mistress, please do not think ill of me as I wish not to influence who you should spend your time with."

"Oh, no, please do not misjudge me...I was only being polite and act as if I was interested."

"Come on, child. You do not have to please me. After all, if that was how you really feel then tell me why there is a sad look on your face?"

Crystal stops handling her things then she speak freely. "If the Grand Maestro was here...of course he will only prefer me to not socialize with them as he may think the young lads will be a negatively influence to me."

"I fully understand and aware of his own opinion however remember...you are capable enough to make your personal decisions as I will not judge you."

Somehow these words make her stronger and there has been a heavy burden lift off her shoulders.

Butler speaks once more before he leaves the hall. "All right, now please continue with your practice and when it is time, I will pick you up in the front."

Now she is along and hooks the sound system to the cherry oak violin, next places the chin rest under her jaw as she's tuning the pegs. On the fingerboard her left hand is position as her other hand gripping the bow ready to strum a note. She takes a deep breath and soaks in the peaceful quietness of the room. Her mind is finally at ease with no sound or distractions in sight. It is just her and the music notes of the small violin echoing the corners of the hall.

The softness of the piece plays to her liking as she is in a musical trance. Then she hears an unfamiliar sound echoing within the background of the stage, however, Crystal is too engrossed to the tune to even guess what is distracting her pleasing melody.

"Do I hear...an electric guitar?"

Crystal can't stop the melodious piece just to figure out what is interrupting her. She ignores the random plucked notes. Someone is strumming some keys and trying to match her pace as she shifts to different keys. Once both of the violin and electric guitar matched in pitch and tune; the clashing sound of the guitar became more distinctive, vibrating and dominating her angelic humming of the violin.

The unfamiliar and intruder sound belongs to an electric guitar which finally harmonized with the gentleness melody of the violin. The electric guitar is mimicking the notes played by the violin. It is an odd combination which sounds pleasing to her ears as she keeps continues the song.

The song ends and Crystal puts her violin back into its protective case. She faces the mysterious guitarist who was so busy trying to distract the sweet accord of the string. There is faint lighting as someone rests the guitar beside a large sound speaker.

The stranger steps into the light; Crystal couldn't help but feel dumbfounded to see Jake giving her awkward hand wave.

"H-hey...I came..."

From the corner of her mouth is a slight smile as if she is relieved to see him.Jake notices how sweet she has become but he doesn't think much of it and gives her a friendly chuckle.

"I-I want to come." She said out of contact while he didn't understand what she meant. "I would like to see your band perform. I can just paint a picture of the people enjoying your music."

"Why picture it, if you can experience it?"

"Oh, how I would love too, but..."

Crystal hesitates to answer and he sees her shoulders tense as she is now looking away from him.

He finds her beating around the bushes or perhaps her innocent charms is now rubbing onto him however the young man is blunt about his questions.

"But...what? Look...tsk...if we are not your cup of tea then just spill it out..."

His last comment is quite bold and rude as she slouches because that reminded her during a previous conversation with Butler to chose wisely who she should associated herself with.

"Well...if you changed your mind..." Jake stretches his back and then searches through his bag for a flyer. "...here's the address."

She happily accepts the flyer in her hands."Ah, thank you." Her eyes look directly his while Jake tries not to think too much of the situation.

He rubs her away and responds. "...it is not that...I want you to c-come...I mean...it seems like my band mates are pretty...fond of you...so...you should come..."

It was a small gesture but it means so much to her as his random acts of kindness really touches her making him becomes embarrassed.
