Chapter 3

Later that night, Jason was filming a sit down with Carly, Erin, and David, deciding that it would be the easiest thing to edit over a vlog when his daughter called him.

"Who is Frankie?" Carly asked and Davids' ears perked up, he had yet to even meet the girl.

"Oh shoot, pass me the phone," Jason said, Carly did as such and Jason swiped the phone to accept the call. David couldn't see her face in the facetime call but he could hear her voice and her prominent British accent.

"Hey darling, are you okay?" Jason asked and Carly and Erin gushed at the overprotectiveness.

"I'm good, but your friends I guess, are here. Matt and Zane?" the British accent of the girl coming through the phone speaker. "They think I'm breaking into your house" she added with an amused tone and Jason rolled his eyes.

"Pass the phone to Matt," Jason said and Frankie passed the phone to Matt who was lying on her bed with Zane.

"Why the hell are you two idiots at my house?" Jason said, annoyed and Matt shrugged.

"We thought you'd wanna get food, but we found a better Nash here to hang out with," Zane said and David heard Frankie's bubbly laugh through the phone.

"Dad, I'm gonna get food with them okay? They want me to try In-n-out" Frankie added, taking the phone from Matts' hand. It was Jason's fear of her hanging out with his friends starting to stir, but with the way she laughed every few seconds at what Matt or Zane said, he couldn't find it in his heart to say no.

"Okay fine, but get money from the-" Jason began only to be cut off by Matt.

"We can spot her, don't worry about it," Matt said and before Jason could say something, Frankie spoke.

"Okay, we're gonna go. Love you!" She said and Jason rolled his eyes.

"Film her reaction to it!" Jason yelled out and Zane responded with a yes, and the call was over.

"Who is Frankie?" Erin pressed and Jason rolled his eyes. He forgot that no one really knew about his daughter besides Todd and David. He honestly assumed that they would've said something, but he was proven wrong.

"My eldest daughter," Jason said and Erin nodded, confused "She's twenty-one, in case you're confused" He added and the two girls nodded. They were incredibly confused, but didn't push the subject further in that moment. All they needed to know was that Jason had a daughter. 

Meanwhile, it was quick that with Frankie's funny and bubbly nature, she was already getting along really well with Zane and Matt.

"Dude, you're way too cool to be Jason's daughter," Matt said and Frankie let out a laugh. Zane and Matt had noticed the similarities in the way Frankie spoke, and how she mimicked her fathers best features like his humor, but Frankie as a whole was someone so different.

Matt even thought that if perfect was a person, it would probably be her.

"He did raise me, so if anything I'm just the better version of my dad" Frankie let out before taking a sip of her soda. She watched as Zane pulled out a camera and faced it towards her. She didn't mind being in the vlogs, in fact, she found them quite enjoyable. She knew all of her dad's friends even though she hadn't actually met them before.

"So we're here with Frankie and shes trying in n out for the first time," Zane said into his camera and Frankie held up the burger in her hands.

"God this better be fantastic," Frankie said, the word fantastic coming out a little more British sounding than usual. The boys watched in anticipation as she took her first bite, chewing slowly before swallowing and staring directly at the camera lens.

"It's shit," She said, the seriousness in her tone caused the boys to freeze before she let out a laugh and took another bite. That caused them to laugh as well, realizing that the girl had just been joking

"You guys should've seen the looks on your faces when I said its shit. It's actually quite good." Frankie said, taking another bite.

"Aww Matt, can we keep her?" Zane said as a joke, and Frankie let out a snort, which in turn got them all laughing.

Frankie realized right then and there that her dad and she were so similar that it probably meant that every single one of dads friends could probably be her friend too.
