Frankie sat in her room, in front of her piano, mindlessly playing keys and trying to come up with song lyrics. She won't lie, being with David although often gave her inspiration for songs, she never had enough time to really sit down and transform the words she writes down on her iPhone into an actual song worth going in to demo.

Frankie usually kept her door half-open, allowing her voice and the sounds of the piano to move through the house. It was something her father often loved when Frankie started to grow up. He loved to hear her sing and play the piano. Eleven years later, it was no different.

Frankie however, despite all the inspiration and song lyrics she's written on a paper, she hadn't been able to focus for more than five minutes at a time, her mind continually wondering if David had decided what to do about telling Jason, or if he decided that Frankie wasn't worth the hassle.

Was it too much that she mentioned Harry, to begin with?

Her thoughts were immediately interrupted by loud banging on the door, followed by Todd's footsteps since she knew her father had said goodnight to her about forty-five minutes ago, and Olivia was away on tour.

"David?" Todd said, his voice loud enough to echo through the house, and immediately Frankie's fingers lifted off the keys. David was here?

Almost instantly, she could hear multiple feet pounding up the stairs, and David zooms right past her bedroom.

"Jason!" David yelled, banging on the door, and Frankie quickly ran to hers, her head peeping out of the already open door.

"David, what the fuck?!" Frankie yelled out, and David looked at her before opening her father's door to reveal Jason, who was sat up, rubbing his eyes and looking at the Slovakian boy pissed off due to the fact that his already hard to obtain sleep was interrupted.

"What the fuck David" Jason groaned out before realizing that David didn't have a camera in his hand, so it wasn't a bit or a prank. It was a real issue that the twenty-two-year-old had to discuss.

"I like your daughter," David let out, and Frankie looked at Todd with wide eyes. She had thought of a lot of different ways David would tell Jason about their thing, but barging into her house while her father was asleep wasn't one of them.

"What?" Jason hissed, and David stood his ground, granted this was a lot more ballsy than he anticipated, looking at the glare that could kill, but he wasn't backing down now. Especially not with Frankie on the line.

"I like Frankie. And she fucking told me that I need your permission to go on a date with her," David let out, his voice loud, booming across the house, and Todd took his time to film the interaction on his iPhone, hoping the footage could be of use to someone.

"David, I fucking told you! I had one rule, you fucking dick!" Jason yelled out, his feet padding the floor, and Frankie almost felt the need to interrupt them.

"I know! You think I wanted this to happen?" David yelled out and Frankie sighed. It was true, she didn't realize that David had the same issue, but apparently, she did.

"Fuck." Jason yelled out before doing something that Frankie, Todd, and David didn't expect to happen.

He swung at David, his fist colliding with Davids's cheek as David stumbled back, holding his now red cheek that would surely bruise.

"Bloody hell!" Frankie yelled out before rushing over to David, who was leaning on the wall, staring down at his best friend.

"You can date, Frankie," Jason said calmly before adding, "but just remember if you hurt her, I will hurt you."

"Dad, are you kidding you punched him?" Frankie moaned out, and Jason shrugged.

"Yeah, and he hits me with paintball guns regularly," Jason points out before looking back at David "come on, let's go get you ice," Jason said before helping the Slovakian boy up and down the stairs into their kitchen. David now sat on the island counter with Frankie in between his legs, while they both held the icepack to his face.

"God, I have to get used to this," Jason complained, and Frankie rolled her eyes. "But goodnight, you two," Jason added before bounding up the stairs, leaving the pair in the kitchen.

"I am so sorry he did that to you," Frankie said, and David shrugged.

"It was worth it," He said, which only made Frankie smile, leaning to kiss her kinda, almost-boyfriend before leaning back to look at him.

"Also, now that I've been punched by your father, will you go on a date with me? Like officially?" David asked, and Frankie nodded her head, letting out a laugh as she circled her arms around the boy.

"After all that? How could I say no?" She asked, and David let out a chuckle before pecking the girl on the lips, and then moving her so he could get off the counter.

"Come on, I need to edit, and editing without you is a pain in the ass," David said, and Frankie shook her head, but allowed the boy to pull her up to her room and get into her bed. Pulling out his laptop and resuming the editing while Frankie pulled out her computer, playing a movie that David hadn't seen before, but he didn't care.

All he cared about was the girl cuddled into him.
