Chapter 7

October 18 12:23 AM

I'm being dragged by two people. It's too dark to see their faces and I'm too weak to move. Sorrow fills my heart knowing I left them. I left the one I love in pain! The people stop at a tree, and one places their hand on it. It begins to glow a bright blue color and grows into a door. They open the door and throw me in. I land hard on the ground, and the breath gets knocked out of me. Then they enter, and come closer to my face. The door closes and all is dark.

I startle awake lying on bed, breathing heavily. I look down at my wrists and see there are marks. They disappear within seconds. My powers grow stronger everyday that I train. But what was that dream, why did it feel so real. I hear a knock, and turn to look at the door. Carlos is standing in the doorway, staring at me with wonder.

"What happened? Bad dream?" He asked walking over and planting himself next to me.

"No, it felt real. I was being dragged through a forest by two people. They brought me to a tree that was actually a door and tossed me in the dark room. Strange though, I kept saying in my head: Why didn't I stop him from hurting her? Now she may never remember me!" I looked up at Carlos who had turned ghost white. He grabbed my wrist and raced me out the door.

"Carlos, where are you taking me?" I asked

"To see a friend. It's urgent." He responded

"More urgent then me getting dressed first." I stated with sarcastism.

"Yes, much more important. It may help us find Jacob." He said grabbing my full on attention.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go." I said getting free of Carlos's grip and running faster then him.

 =========================

We had made it there in minutes! Where ever there was! It was in the middle of nowhere and very dark and muggy. Carlos lead me to a broken down house where, if the smell didn't kill, the roof that looked like it was ready to cave in would! Worst part is we had to enter the basement! The most smellest and dampest part of the house. The only thing was that their was a door that looked like it wasn't touched by this disater. It was white and the handle was an aqua blue! Lucky for me, it was exactly where Carlos was heading. When he opened the door I gasped at the glorious room. Red wallpaper with accents of black garnets wrapped around the chestnut wood floor. Their was two doors with gold running around them.

"Carlos what's that?" I asked

"A transporter like the one Jacob has in the shed. He's abilities are still in training so he can't go too far. And because I can't transport this is my only option to take you to my friend quick enough." He said

"Where is your friend?" I asked

"In a secret dimension where extradinares live in peace from other humans. The goverment sent us there but we can live in this dimension if we please. But it must be in private areas so nobody knows we exist except the goverment." Carlos informed. Now I'm excited to see this dimension!

"Well then, we better get going to see your friend!" I said.

Carlos opened the doors and a flash of light came as expected. This time I closed my eyes and let the warm, tingling sensation wrap around me. Then it fled from me and the light dimmed. I opened my eyes to Carlos who was smiling at me.

"What?" I asked

"You kept saying how much Jacob kept you warm. You really love him don't you?" He asked
