"I think I figured it out." Jessica told Peter when they entered the Stark cottage.
"Figured what out?" Peter asked her.
"Who the Green Goblin is." Jessica stated.
"Jessica, if you say it's Norman, I swear I will throw you out a window." Peter said.
"Defenstration never scared me." Jessica said. "But think about it. Norman didn't seem to happy about uncovering the identities of the six people."
"Let me stop you real quick. We need something better to call them than six people." Peter said.
"Fine, we'll call them the-" Jessica thought for a moment. "Sinister Six. Anyways, Norman didn't want us to uncover their identities. If he's the Green Goblin, he'd do anything to hide his identity, even if it means throwing his teammates under the bus."
"If you can get proof, then maybe I'll believe you." Peter said.
Jessica smirked. "All we have to do is snoop around Oscorp."
"Without getting caught, yeah right." Peter laughed.
"Pete, you're friends with Harry."
"Yeah, but Harry can't even snoop around. He doesn't have clearance to half of the rooms."
"Well then we'll find someone who does."
...
Jessica sat on a bench outside Oscorp tower, waiting for the interns to leave. At five o'clock, a girl with blonde hair and bangs walked out of the building.
Jessica stood up and approached the girl. "Hi, I'm Jessica."
"I'm Gwen." The girl said, shaking Jessica's hand.
"Can we talk?" Jessica asked.
"Um, sure," Gwen said. The two girls walked into a coffee shop and sat across from each other.
"I'm sorry, why did you want to talk to me?" Gwen asked.
"What are your thoughts on Spider-Man?"
"My dad hates him. Was so happy when he arrested him." Gwen said. "I think he's really cool, and I personally don't think he's a murderer. I go to the same school as Peter, and I haven't really talked to him in a while, but we worked on a project together in freshman year and he's a super nice guy."
"Good." Jessica said. "I'm an agent of SWORD, just think of it as the new SHIELD. I've been working to help clear Peter's name and think you could be of some help."
"You want my help?" Gwen asked. Jessica nodded. "How could I be of any help?"
"You have access to Oscorp."
"I don't have much clearance, I'm just an intern." Gwen said.
"You can help get me in."
"Wait. Why do you want to break into Oscorp? Isn't Norman helping clear Spider-Man's name?"
Jessica sighed. "I think Norman's a villain. It's too much to explain right now, but you just have to trust me."
"Okay." Gwen said. "What do you need me to do?"
...
"I'm glad we get to hangout." MJ told Peter. "It's been weird not having you around."
"I know, I've missed you." Peter said, squeezing MJ's hand tighter. "How's Ned?"
"Good. He misses you too."
"Bet he does."
"I will say, I am curious to see how Flash is doing." MJ said. "No one has heard from him since you got outed."
"He's probably in shock that 'such a loser' is Spider-Man." Peter laughed. "He'll get over it."
Peter and MJ continued walking through Queens, talking about how hectic their lives have been.
...
"Boss said he has a girlfriend, that her?" Mac asked. Him and Adrian were on a rooftop looking down at Peter and MJ.
"Probably. I've seen her hanging out with him before." Adrian said. "We know he has an aunt also."
"That kid is such a dummie." Mac said, laughing.
"What do you mean?" Adrian asked.
"Well, he's gotten himself framed and he can't figure out how to undo it." Mac said. "Plus he sucks at trusting people."
"You can say that again." Adrian said. "I will say, the kid is smart. I should know."
There was a moment of silence.
"So..." Mac began, "do we just follow him home?"
"I'll figure out who's staying with him. You work on the girl. Figure out as much as you can about her."
"Got it."
...
Gwen and Jessica were right outside Oscorp tower. "Okay, so I'll go back in and grab my wallet. I'll try to unlock as many doors as I can for you."
"We just need to get our finger prints in the system. Do you have access to the control room?"
"No."
"Okay, I can hack it." Jessica said. "I just need you to get us to the room."
"Okay, how will you not get caught?" Gwen asked.
"I'm a professional spy. I think I've got it covered."
Gwen walked into Oscorp and began to walk towards the elevator before she was stopped by Felicia.
"Where do you think you're going?" She asked Gwen.
"I forgot my wallet in the break room." Gwen said.
"Hurry back." Felicia said, letting Gwen past.
Gwen got in the elevator and closed the door to hear a thump next to her. She jumped and looked over to see Jessica.
"How did you get in here!?" She asked.
"I have my ways." Jessica said.
The two girls got off at the floor that held the control room. Gwen opened multiple doors, and soon they were at the control room.
The control room had a PIN password as well as a fingerprint scan. Jessica pulled a small device out of her pocket and began to hack the system, overriding both locks, and the door opened.
The girls went inside and Jessica began to add their fingerprints to the system. Jessica put her fingers on the machine and had Gwen do the same afterwards.
"We have access to all the rooms now." Jessica said. "I would do some more snooping, but Felicia knows that you're inside the tower. Tomorrow while you're busy working, I'll begin looking around."
"Okay, sounds great." Gwen said. They went back down the elevator and Jessica seemed to disappear as Gwen went past Felicia, walking outside.
