Legend of Korra: The New Savior

Chapter 4: "The Voice in the Night!"

'Earth.' Avatar Kyoshi is shown before she earthbends a rock. 'Fire.' Avatar Roku is shown firebending. 'Air.' Adult Aang is shown bending air. 'Water.' Korra is shown waterbending. Light flashes and airbender island is shown as the statue of Aang holding a staff is shown. "Only the Avatar, can master all four elements while the Savior can master three elements and bring balance to the world." Korra and Ren are shown standing beside one another and Ren stood with her arms crossed while Korra stood like Aang's statue.

[Ren's POV]

I couldn't help but find myself thinking of the two friend we have made. Bolin and Mako were great. Korra and I were enjoying have friends other than just each other. Bolin and Mako were both really great but while Bolin had a crush on me... I couldn't help but feel like I wasn't good enough for him.

I look up out the window and I sigh. Things were definitely difficult. My eyes widen when I hear Korra scream. I jump up and rush out of the room as fast as I can as I was just down the hall from her.

[Normal POV]

Ren rushes into the room and she looks around as she held a fight pose. She finds Korra alone. Ren blinks confused at Korra.

"What is it?" Ren asks.

"Nothing just a nightmare." Korra says.

"Oh. Want to talk about it?" Ren asks.

"No, not really. Especially when it was about you." Korra says looking at Ren.

"Me? What did Bolin try to kiss me?" Ren asks jokingly.

"No." Korra says and then Korra curls around Naga's head hugging Naga who'd stuck her head into the window.

"Oh, so, it was Amon that scared you." Ren says.

"Yeah." Korra says.

[Later the Next Day]

Ren walks with Mako as the two were hanging out as simple friends. For some reason, the two got along pretty well since they worked together to save Bolin. The subject changes to Korra and Mako nods as he listens to Ren.

"All I'm saying is that Korra is more afraid of that Amon guy then I am. She fears that I'll get my bending taken." Ren explains.

"Well, if you do have your bending taken then there might be no Avatar in the next generation. The Avatar does draw power from the Savior." Mako explains and he looks at Ren. Ren sighs and places her hand under her chin as she thinks. Mako watches her as he let her think.

"Actually, I think it's the other way around. If the Avatars are stopped then my powers are nothing. I'll become a normal bender." Ren explains.

"Then I guess you two need to be careful." Mako says.

"Right. Thanks for talking with me." Ren says.

"No problem, I'll see you later." Mako says.

"Yep." Ren says. Mako runs across the street and Ren turns to go but she stops when she hears something. She turns and sees Mako on the ground. Ren rushes over to what would have been an accident and Ren looks over to see that the driver was a girl whose name was Asami Sato.

"Mako!" Ren says.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't see you!" Asami says.

"Are you alright, Mako?" Ren asks.

"I'm fine, but how couldn't you see me?" Mako asks as he was getting ready to get mad then he looks at Asami and blushes, "I'm fine. I completely understand."
