Chapter 10

Maya was busy just packing all her stuff in her suitcase when Josh came in the room.
He saw that she was very upset and that it had to do with him.
It was clear.

"Maya," Josh said but she didn't even react.
"Maya just slow down," Josh said.
"You heard what your brother said," Maya said.
"Well I'm not Cory. Can we please just talk?" Josh asked.
"About what? My mess of a life? Me basically causing my best friend to commit suicide? There are a lot of more options," Maya said.

Josh grabbed Maya's hand causing her to look him in the eye.

"I know what you're talking about," Josh said.
"What does it matter? What's done is done," Maya said and continued packing.
"Where are you even going?" Josh asked.
"I'll figure it out," Maya said.
"Come to stay with me then."
"I don't think that's a good idea," Maya said.
"Maya I am not letting you live on streets. It's not negotiable."

Maya closed her eyes for a few seconds.
She knew he had a point but she doesn't want to admit it.
Even it she knows what she is going to say right now.

"Okay," Maya said.
"Good. You can drive behind me."
