It was about three hours later.
Josh was done at college for the day and was heading back to his dorm.
"Maya! I'm home. Maya?"
There was no answer which was odd.
Josh looked around in his apartment but he didn't see Maya.
Not just that.
He also saw that all her stuff was gone.
He had no possible idea where she could be until he found her note.
'Back to Riverdale. I couldn't anymore. I should have done it long ago. I'll see you again someday. Long game?'
She did it.
She just left.
No it's not true.
But Cory will know for sure.
He will know if all of this is true.
Josh races over to Cory and knocks at door.
"Josh come in," Topanga said.
"Please tell me she's here," Josh said.
"Nope. She arrived in New Jersey about two hours ago," Cory said.
"What did you do?" Topanga asked.
"Nothing. I have no idea why she did it. If I did I wouldn't be here. Probably because of what I did a few months ago. Damn. I Reay thought there was a chance of us fixing everything," Josh said.
"Yeah. Maybe you need tk get your head straight," Cory said.
