Maya had every intention into getting this over and done with.
She wanted to get away from everything.
More important she wanted to forget that anything happened between her and Josh.
It would never last and she knows it.
The kiss meant nothing.
The fact that they had slept together meant absolutely nothing.
Maya knew that if she had to go she needs to do it now.
It was close to a week later and she had to give in.
She quickly packed her suitcase and threw it in her car then she drove to the Matthews.
"Okay so tomorrow is Thanksgiving. What are we doing?" Cory asked.
"I don't..." Topanga said and there was a knock at the door.
"I'll get it. Maya this is a surprise," Cory said.
"Yeah well I have to head back to New Jersey," Maya said.
"Are you..."
"Yes. I'm running away. Looks like I'm a lot more like my father than I wanted," Maya said and Auggie came running towards Maya.
"Hey Auggie. I just came to say goodbye," Maya said and gave Auggie a hug.
"So you have to go?" Auggie asked and Maya looked him in the eyes.
"Yeah Buddy. I'll keep in contact. I promise. Okay," Maya said and have both Cory/Topanga a hug.
"Travel safe," Topanga said.
"I will. Okay. See you guys," Maya said and was gone.
