Rant 55) OC is bestfriends with Naruto?

There are quite a lot of these actually. Very typical garbage in my perspective that plagues this platform as we speak. I'm sorry for the long updates, been rather busy.

So I decided to look on my feed and found this rather intriguing book just sitting there. So I decided to look at it and nearly threw my phone at on a nearby public subway tracks— sorry was a little bit too far. Have a look here.

I ran as fast as I could. I had to reach him before the others did. I couldn't stand to see him alone anymore. As I rounded the corner into the academy's courtyard, I saw him sitting on a swing under the lone tree. He was watching our classmates talk and laugh. He was being ignored. I fought back tears and ran over to him. I tackled him out of the swing.

"Naru-kun!" I shouted happily. He turned his head and looked at me. His eyes widened and he smiled. I loved his smile. It was beautiful.

The typical canon cry for help scenario. Naruto is being ignored so I must help him and befriend him because no one else would. Ya I see where it's going from a mileage. And "Naru-kun?" In my perspective I never heard of that in my entire life. Naruto-kun, yes. But the other one. Nope.

And are we going to ignore the fact this swing is in nearly every Naruto academy scenario fan fictions off this platform. Just think about it.

"Hika-chan! Get away from him!" I turned and saw Sakura yelling at me. I stuck my tongue out at her and hugged Naruto tighter. I was tired of listening to everyone else. I didn't see anything wrong with him. He was just a kid with no parents. Just like me.

"Hey Naru-kun, wanna go get ramen? Just us two flubs?" He looked at me confused. "You think you're the only one who failed today?" His eyes widened and nodded.
