I do not own Vampire Knight, only the character Akahina. All credits to the author of the manga/anime.
Hello peeps! I will be undergoing a major edit of all chapters before uploading new ones. The basic plot is still the same with minor changes to the original plot. I will also make each chapter more descriptive and longer in length. What do you guys think of a new fanfic about the Kuran siblings? And by Kuran siblings I mean Hakura, Juri, and Rido? I was thinking of adding another female sibling that likes Rido but of course Rido likes Juri. Any ideas? Please don't be afraid to leave a comment or suggestion. Thanks!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Unknown to society, the Kuran family has a son and two daughters. Although both daughters lived through a sheltered childhood, people still knew about Yuki. How? Nobody was sure.

The world was aware of Yuki's existence. With one daughter known to society, many waved off the fact if another daughter existed. They were only rumors right? As long as their other daughter, Akahina wasn't revealed to the world, Juri and Hakura were content.

Akahina Kuran was the middle child and beloved daughter of Juri and Hakura Kuran. Unlike her siblings, Kaname and Yuki, she radiated in beauty. As opposed to her outgoing siblings, she on the other hand was quiet, reserved, and loved to sing.

She has also acquired her powers at a young age because she unintentionally discovered them through her singing. And through singing she had the capabilities of using magic. This rare ability only set apart her uniqueness and grace from others.

But magic came with a cost.

She was not safe at this young of an age to protect herself from those of greed and selflessness. This was one of the reasons why she was hidden away from society. And the other as becoming the family's precious treasure.

Although Akahina and Yuki lived in a sheltered childhood, it never discouraged either of them. Even though Yuki and herself never been outside the manor, she knew very well of her parents intentions. They were trying to protect their precious princesses from the outside world, in order to prevent them from facing enemies who could utilize the vulnerability of the girls to their advantage.

So in the basement in the Kuran manor, she lived her life watching over her younger sister who always seemed energetic and cheerful. While opposed to her, would rather sing or silently watch the interactions between her older siblings.

Perfect pictures don't last long.

After the discovery of her new found power, she was taken to another room to live apart from Yuki. Akahina could see Yuki, but Yuki couldn't see Akahina. How? Through a two way mirror. Yuki could only see her reflection.

Kaname was infatuated by Akahina's beauty, elegance, and. He had grown to cherish her more than others. But one incident ruined their relationship.

The very reason that convinced her to leave.

Before anyone could detect the missing Akahina, Rido invaded the manor. The Kurans believed that Rido's main target for power was Yuki, therefore Yuki was turned to a human by Juri hide her vampire side from him. But what they failed to realize was that Rido was well aware of Akahina's existence. But she had left the manor, along with her memories.

By the time Rido invaded the manor, Kasai was no where to be found. She was never seen again. It was as though she never existed.

In the aftermath Kaname dropped Yuki off at Cross Academy under the care of Kaiden Cross. He then went back to the manor to search for his other beloved sister. But he never found her.

From that day forth, Kaname believed that she had died during the invasion, and swore to protect Yuki, his other precious sister.

And as time passes, not many knew of Akahina's existence. And those who have regard her as the forgotten princess.

Now dear readers, shall we begin in the chapter where it all began?
