CHAPTER 50

[DARKO SEAN NORVILLE / DASH DURKENSON's P.O.V]

At last! I already got back my biological name. Dara and I can finally get married legally, and nothing can stop the two of us anymore.

Ngayong tapos na ang pagbalik sa dati kong pangalan, may bigla akong naalala. I approached one of the staffs in the records section.

"May I also asked for the records of my biological mother? Her name is Lourdes Velarks Durkenson." I asked him.

"Anong klaseng document po ba ang kukunin niyo, sir?" Napaisip ako sa tanong niya. At binalikan ulit siya ng tingin after almost one minute.

"Can you check first what kind of documents she has on your database?"

"Okay po sir. Wait lang po. Pa-sulat na lang po ng full maiden name niya dito." He gave me a ballpen and a paper.

I was about to write the full maiden name of my biological mother when I heard uncle Miguel stopped me.

"That's enough, Dash! Why do you need to have her documents? What for?! Where will you use those?" I frowned and turned to him, wondering why he doesn't want me to ask for my biological mother's documents.

Is he hiding something?

"Why, uncle? Are you hiding something? Is there anything I need to know?" I asked him mockingly.

I noticed the panic in his eyes. I secretly smirked at hindi na siya pinansin pa. Alam kong may tinatago siya tungkol sa totoo kong nanay. And that's what I need to know. Binalik ko ang paningin ko sa papel at tinuloy ang pagsulat.

"You don't need to know. You already have Rian and Liam as your parents! So, why do you have to know about her?" I just ignored him and continued to write the full name of my mother.

Nung inaabot ko na ang papel sa lalaki, napansin ko naman ang palipat-lipat niyang tingin sa amin.

"Here." He took the paper from me.

I just felt uncle grabbed my arm. "Stop that, Don Miguel! Darko has a right since she is still his mother." I heard dad told him.

"Bakit po ba, Don Miguel? What happened to Lourdes? Did something bad happened to her na hindi mo gustong malaman ni Darko?" I felt nervous when I heard mom asked that.

Nilingon ko ulit si uncle. At mas lalong nadagdagan ang pagdududa ko ng hindi siya nagsalita at napayuko na lang.

While Dara is not say anything but just listened to us. Alam ko namang ayaw lang niyang dumagdag pa sa gulo. Dahil kilala naman niya ako. She knows that no one can stop me.

Hindi na rin tumutol pa si uncle especially when the staff spoke.

"Sir, tatlong documents po ang nahanap sa records ni Lourdes Salcedo Velarks. Birth certificate, Marriage certificate, and her Death certificate po."

[THIRD PERSON's P.O.V.]

Napasinghap sila sa narinig na sinabi ng staff maliban lang kay Don Miguel Velarks.

"Death Certificate?" Naitanong na lang bigla ni Rian matapos ng pagkabigla.

Napatingin silang lahat kay Don Miguel na ngayon ay hindi makatingin sa kanila ng diretso.

"Let's go outside and I'll explain everything."

Para maiwasan ang kung anumang gulo na pwedeng mangyari ay sumunod sila kay Don Miguel palabas ng building at dumiretso sila sa parking lot kung nasaan ang sinakyan nilang Black Mitsubishi Xpander na pagmamay-ari ng pamilya Norville.
