I, Kim Jennie, who would normally fall fast asleep once I have the slightest contact with my bed, couldn't sleep a wink.

I'm going to see Taehyung sunbaenim tomorrow.

Shit.

Ever since that little triple date of ours, I can't seem to get him off my mind. And I admit, I have developed a little crush on him because of that.

How can anyone not?! Tell me!

Plus, he even asked for my number from who-knows-who and sent me a voicemail. At first, since the number was unknown, I was going to block it right away. We never know, it may be another sasaeng or something.

However, there was this gut that told me to play the voicemail, and so I did. And when I played it - fucking hell was his voice so raspy.

"Jennie-ssi? Hey, it's Taehyung. I don't wanna tell you who I got your number from, what's important is that we can now contact each other. We're friends now, right?"

I texted him a response, but instead of replying with a text, he once again sent me a voicemail.

Taehyung Sunbaenim

VM: I'm so sorry, I'm just too
lazy to type.

Giggling, I sent him a reply - through a voicemail as well.

Taehyung Sunbaenim

VM: That's alright, sunbaenim.

My eyebrows started to furrow once he left me on seen for a bitter minute and seventeen seconds. Was there something wrong? Or did my voice crack? I didn't get to check the voicemail I sent--

"FUCKING HELL!" I almost threw my phone.

My eyes widened upon seeing his number calling me. Is this for real? He was calling me! I didn't want to make him wait long, and so, I cleared my throat and calmly answered his call.

"Hello? Sunbae?"

"Woah," he chuckled. "Your voice 'is' hoarse, that's so cool. I had to reply your voicemail over and over, and I couldn't help but become curious if you actually sounded like that through the phone."

M-my voice was hoarse? Oh my gosh, no. Don't boys think it's a turn off if they hear a deep voice rather than a cute or high-pitched one?

"You sound really cool, though," he added.

I froze, biting my bottom lip to refrain myself from smiling. Who would've thought that I, Jennie Kim, would act like this?
