It has been over month, and the team and you are in training camp again. You have been getting tips for the other players like Akaashi or Kuroo to help you on improving, well mostly Akaashi was helping, Kuroo was just being an ass most of the time
During this time, your dad is in Tokyo because the Japan National Volleyball Team is now getting ready for the Olympics and your dad is the official setter, you are very happy but at the same time you miss him because he has been only coming for the weekend and leaving during the week but you have kageyama to keep you company and also sometimes you stay with Sugawara at his house
Right now you are against Shinzen in a practice match with a score of (8-20), you see Hinata going to spike which reminded you when in middle school he would always ask you to play with him because no one would be playing volleyball, but now he has a team and is playing against real opponents which made you more pumped.
The ball went back, kageyama looks at you for a split second to indicate that if you wanted to spike, you get on a running stance and run and jump as high as you can, you meet the ball and do a cross spike, you hear the ball slamming on the wooden floor to which you smirk at
Time Skip
Now it is September, and you are helping Nishinoya and Asahi. With Nishinoya he practiced receiving your jump serve because so far yours is the hardest to receive in the team and for Asahi you are helping him learn it with of course the help of Kageyama as well.
During all of that you practiced with Nishinoya on receiving Yamaguchi's jump float serve, also the Neighborhood Association would come and have practice match's but your dad wasn't with them because he is now playing in the Olympics
Now late September, you noticed the whole team is improving, as of now you are playing against Nekoma and are at a deuce with Nekoma at 25 and Karasuno at 24. Hinata went and spiked the ball out of bounds which made Nekoma win.
You looked at Hinata and he was apologizing like crazy while bowing, you chuckled which grabbed the attention of the team "it's fine Sho it's not like everyone is perfect, even if we have mistakes that means there is room to grow" you said whipping a tear because you were laughing
When you said that you saw the teams eyes sparkled at your word, and what you didn't expect they all went to you even Tsukishima, and all hugged you which made you giggle at them and how they are complete softies.
They all released and just smiled at you, 'they really are my second family' you thought. Your ears perked when from the background you hear Kuroo telling Kenma to keep their guard up which made you realize how much you and the team have been improving.
Now Late October, you actually were With Tsukishima for once. He actually asked you if you could come with him at first you were skeptical but you went with him. After that you went back but Tsukishima stayed.
When you arrived you saw the typical. Hinata and Kageyama arguing while Tanaka and Nishinoya trying to talk to Kiyoko but ultimately failing while Sugawara and Daichi being the parents of the team trying to stop what ever mess is happening in front of the team, while you see Yamaguchi and Yachi just talking
'You know what I ship them' you thought while looking at the two
Practice has ended and everyone was cleaning up, you were with Nishinoya and were talking about yesterday's match in the Olympic's
"I mean the Libero was like so cool" he said with a sparkle in his eyes
"But you gotta admit the the ace was also amazing during the second to final set" you said while removing the net
You and him continued to talk till he was called by Sugawara to do something, you just watch how Kageyama and Hinata were just racing on who can get the most ball. At the end they didn't know who won because they forgot to count.
In the background you hear Tanaka talking about how he lost his virginity to a ziplock bag, to which the third years just look at him weird. While you finished with the net you felt someone wrap their arms around your waist, you did need to know who it was because it was always one person
"Tobio~ are you tired" you asked while giggling at how cute he is being
He jus growled and stuffed his face in the crock of your neck, you turned yourself to face him and just played with his hair, while he apparently slept on top of you
After a lot of convincing on Kageyama's part you slept over at his house today, when you came in kageyama immediately went to the bed and passed out, you just smiled and went to do your own thing.
After you were done changing you saw him fast a sleep, you slipped yourself in the bed and immediately kageyama pulled you in close to him, he stuffed his face in your neck and just slept. You smiled and just fell a sleep
Time Skip
You and the team finally arrived at the gymnasium "this is where we are gonna take revenge" Hinata said while quickly running off to the entrance. You sigh and walked over till you saw the captain that tried to ask your number last time
"Sassy-Chan!" He called out, to which you just rolled your eye
Immediately Kageyama had this dark aura surrounding him and went over to you and protectively wrapped his arms around your waist immediately glaring at the captain, the all of a sudden he was hit in the head with a book.
You were shocked when a girl that seemed to be the manager come out and smiled him, she went over to you "sorry for the idiot I will scold him more after when we get inside" she said while bowing
"It's okay! But thank you..my jelly boyfriend over might have killed him if it continued" you laughed while pointing at him
She just smiled and left to apparently scolded the captain. When we got inside you and Shoyo went to go to the bathroom, on the way he told you his past experience when going to the bathroom which made you laugh.
You see him cautiously go to the bathroom when you saw Oikawa and Iwaizumi come out, you went over and saw that Shoyo tried to run away when he bumped into Ushijima. Your eyes widen up and you went over
Ushijima noticed you and lighten up a bit "Hello (l/n)" he said to which you just glare at him and then at Oikawa. You said "hi" to Iwaizumi because he was the only decent person right now and you quickly got you and Shoyo out of there but not before he said something
"Karasuno is going to win" he said standing up straight to which you stood next to him looking proud to which the three other players glare at you two
This scared Hinata and immediately pulled you away. You walked back to your team to which Sugawara looked at you worriedly
"Where have you two been?" He asked while putting his hand on his hip
"Well we ran into Ushijima and the Aobajōsai captain and ace and just told them that we are gonna win" you said casually
There eyes widen and some had their jaws open, you just smiled and looked at Hinata who was also shocked that you two actually did that
"What ever happens I know we will do great" you said while opening the door to the gymnasium to which they gain composure and went with you to start the match with the team known as "the party team" or known as Johzenji High
