INDIANA LOOKED in shock at the man, who is supposed to be dead. The Omega heart tugs knowing the emotional turmoil her Alpha will be facing, having been through it herself. The only difference being she wished her father was still dead.

"Dad?" Jace questioned, still unsure whether the man who was getting out of the locker in front of him was real or just a hallucination due to demon venom,
"Son." He says and leaps forward as the two men embrace each other in a tight, long overdue hug,
"Oh, Jace." The eldest Wayland whispers,
"I can't believe it." Jace's voice is quiet and almost goes unheard, Indi turns away, slightly uncomfortable around strangers.

"Son, you're hurt. How did you find me?" Jace's dad asks curiously,
"You're dead. Valentine killed you.
Valentine's-Valentine's here." Jace shakes, his eyes unfocused, unbelieving of the man in front of him,
"No, Jace. It's me. I'm Michael Wayland.
I'm Jace's father. Look, I know what Jace told you, but I've been here for ten years.
Valentine took off and left me." The old man breathed heavily, he addressed Indiana,
"And Jocelyn Fairchild?" Indi holds her breath, eyes full of hope,
"He took her with him. You are?" Indiana couldn't let her emotions take hold of her, not when her Alpha was like this, voice strong and head held high she answered the question,
"I'm Indiana, her daughter. Meliorn, the Seelie, told me that he was here with her."

The second the words leave her mouth Jace grunts and falls, grabbing Jace she pulls him towards her, growling as Jace's father reaches out to help,
"It's Ravener venom. He kept telling me he was all right." She growls trying to reign in her instincts, knowing the father only wants to help his son,
"We have to find your father, not my father." Jace grunts his eyes fluttering as his muscle tense in pain,
"Valentine's-" His breathing gets heavier,
"His stele. Where is it?" Michael asks searching his sons jacket,
"Back pocket." Indiana says as she slips the mortal cup card into her hand and grip it tightly.

"Back pocket. Get it." The man mutters lowly as he searches, he runs it over the rune, but Jace simply groans
"I've tried, the rune is too weak, the-the Ravener venom must be spreading. Fuck uh we have to get him help. Shit we-we closed the Portal." Indiana's eyes start to water,
"Valentine's got a standing Portal. Let's go." Michael says as Indiana begrudgingly lets Michael take some of Jace's weight,
"Hey, Jace, stay with me. Hey. Do you remember our first demon fight? We were way out past the Institute, way up at Kinshasa. You were only eight, but you were so brave. Do you remember what you said?" Michael says trying to use focus to keep Jace awake, Indiana's knees almost buckle under the weight, but she stays strong. For her Alpha.

"I'm ready to die." Jace recounted,
"And then I said, 'Sometimes it's as brave to live as it is to die.' Do you remember?" Jace's face tears up even more,
"I do. It's true. It's you." The reunited father and son place their heads together in comfort,
"Let's go." The man says pushing the group further.

Rushing into the Jade Wolf, Indiana fights her instincts to fly away from the werewolf infested restaurant.
"Help! Please we need help!" Indiana shouted, dragging Jace in,
"Indi, what happened?" Simon asked,
"We thought we found Valentine, but he was already gone." Indi's words were rushed, her focus sorely on Jace.

"Michael Wayland?" Luke says looking at the unfamiliar third in the group,
"Valentine took my mother with him, but we found Jace's father." Indi's patience was quickly lessening,
"What? I thought Valentine killed Jace's father." Simon added,
"He tried. Hello, Lucian." Michael addressed,
"This can't be. I thought I'd never see you again." Luke stammered,
"I never thought I'd see anyone again." The Wayland man barely cast him a look before focusing back on his son.
