A/N: Sorry, this chapter is kind of really long > ~ <

"Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up," 'What the....?' I peel open my sleepy eyes and spot Aizawa sitting in my desk chair chanting, "Wake up" over and over again.

"What?" I sit up and rub my eyes. I take a look at the clock. "It's six in the morning. Why are you waking me up?"

"We have to go early. I have to speak with Present Mic before the Sports Festival begins." Aizawa replies.

'The sun is barely up.' I groan as I lie back down. 'Wait a minute...' "Oh..oH...OH! The Sports Festival!" I swiftly get out of bed.

"Breakfast is waiting downstairs." Aizawa says as he gets up and leaves the room.

I quickly take a shower and get dressed in my PE uniform. I slip on my combat boots and head downstairs. As I reach the kitchen, the wafting aroma of pancakes fill my nose. "Ooh! Pancakes!" I exclaim as I sit down at the table where a warm plate of pancakes await me. I pour some syrup on it and dig in. "Did you make this?" I ask Aizawa.

"Yes, I did." He replies while sipping on his coffee.

"Wow! You can cook really well!" I say.
I finish my food and dump my plate and fork in the sink.

"Ready to go?" He asks and I nod. We then make our way to the car.

As we drive towards the school, I watch the sun slowly rise. It painted the sky in beautiful hues of yellow, pink, and light blue. The streets were steadily becoming busier as people make their daily commute to work, school, etcetera. If it were any other morning, I'd be dead tired. Today though, I was excited and pumped for the Sports Festival. 'I wonder how it will play out.'

"Midoriya. Objectively speaking, I'm stronger than you and more capable."

"Wha...?" We all turn our heads and stare at Shoto.

"Now I'm not about to pry, but All Might has got his eye on you, doesn't he?" He states. "I will beat you."

"Hey man, why are we picking a fight? We're about to go on-" Kirishima nervously says.

"I'm not pretending to be anyone's friend here." Shoto replies.

"Shoto, what...?" I confusedly start.

"Objectively speaking..." Midoriya says as he looks down at his shoes. "You're obviously stronger and I can't even measure up to some of you in skill. Everyone including the students from the other courses will be aiming for the top." Midoriya adds with more confidence. "And I'm not going to fall behind. I'm going for it too, with everything I've got!"

"YEEAAHH!" Present Mic's voice cuts through the air, interrupting the tense atmosphere.

"Time to go, everyone." Iida says.

We exit the room and make our way to the stadium. "Here come the first years!" Present Mic announces. We enter the centre of the stadium and the loud crowd greets us with cheers. The sun shines down on our faces and I squint as my eyes adjust to the light.

"Hello, everybody!" We look over and see the R-rated hero, Midnight in her...interesting hero costume.

"Should she really be wearing that to a high school event?" Kaminari asks.

"Welcome to UA's annual Sports Festival!" She exclaims and the crowd cheers. "Well have UA's too student give an opening speech."

We clap as she gestures towards Katsuki. He walks up to the podium with his hands in his pockets. "I just want to say," he starts and the crowd quiets down. "I'm gonna win."
