"Love can be everything, but never enough."

-Anonymous

Francesca River de Luca

I look into his eyes and wonder how one person could look so hauntingly similar yet so extraordinarily different at the same time.

He's so similar to that little boy from my childhood who took exceptional measures to torture me, commanding all the attention.

Yet he looks so devastatingly different that it's almost impossible to believe.

I cannot shake off the utter madness in his eyes as he looked at me in the basement.

His cerulean eyes arrest me in compulsion making me fall into his gravity as he continues to consume me bit by bit.

I will admit, that I am afraid, terrified of falling for he is a stunning mystery and I never quite liked treasure hunts.

Something about not knowing what is next, creeps it's clutches around my neck as if to strangle me into submission.

But despite of the million reasons I should push him away, every cell, atom of my being is screaming out towards him in their own right.

"Say something, Francesca. Please." He begged.

His voice unfamiliar to me. I have never heard this utter desperation in his voice. Ever.

"I....I...." I miserably try to obey him but all in vain.

"Breath with me, baby. Please." He says and breaths slowly, trying to get me to follow.

I didn't even realize I had stopped breathing.

I followed him involuntarily as my lungs burned, desperate for oxygen.

"That's right, mia ragazza." Tucking my head into the crook of his neck, he rubs my back.

I breath in his scent, allowing it to calm my heavily tired mind and body.

Closing my eyes I slip into the arms of darkness, welcoming me like an old friend.

Sun rays tease my eyes to open and greet them.

Focusing my eyes on the surrounding I realize two things, one that I was on a bed and other that it wasn't my bed.

Looking around, I realize that I am not even in the mansion anymore. I was in the cabin of a jet which was flying to god knows where.

Startled I jumped out too quickly sending a wave of nausea through my body.

Holding onto the wall I steadied my footing and walked to the door which flew open sending me backwards violently.

Landing with a thud I urgently clutched my head which was throbbing due to the impact.

"Fuck." I head from above me and a pair of softly tanned hands pried my hands and tilted my face upwards.

Leone

"Are you fine? I didn't realize you were so close to the door." He asked frantically.

"Where am I? Why on earth am I on a plane? Did you drug me?" I screamed viciously.

He flinched but regained his balance.

"Steady there, tiger. You can ask me slowly, I am not going anywhere."

"Cut it out, Leone. Tell me the real deal. What is going on?"
