Zarina's POV

I was walking through the pride lands thinking when I saw Coltan and Karina approach me.

"Hey sis, are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"You just seem like you're acting weird."

"Isn't this how she normally acts?" Coltan asked.

I slapped him across the face with my paw. "Oops, sorry there was a fly on your face."

"No there wasn't you big lier."

"Well next time watch what you say to me."

"You're saying rude things to me all the time."

Karina groaned, "please stop fighting."

"I've got to go." I pushed past Coltan and Karina and walked away. I spotted Koda. I walked up to Koda. "Hey Koda." Koda turned around.

"Hey Zarina. There's something we need to talk about."

"What is it?" I asked.

"It's about our wedding. We really should start planning. It's next week."

"I know, but there's really nothing to plan."

"Okay, so you're ready?"

"Yeah, how about you, are you ready to marry me?"

Koda nodded, "definitely."

Koda nuzzled me. "Do you think Karina's going to marry Coltan?"

"I don't think, I know," Koda said. "Karina and Coltan are perfect together."

We could hear voices coming from a bush.

"Juniper, be quiet, they'll hear us."

"I am being quiet."

Koda and I walked over to the bush. We pulled the leaves apart to reveal Juniper and Xander.

"Aww, they found us," Juniper complained.

"I'm surprised they can still fit in bushes," Koda commented. "After all they're six months old."

"Yeah, but it's not like they're full grown."

"Yeah, I know."

"We're leaving," Juniper said sharply.

Juniper and Xander walked away. "Do you know what that was all about?"

"I don't have a clue, she's your sister."

"Come on Koda, let's go."

"Where?"

"I don't know, let's just go on a walk."

"Okay."

We walked through the pride lands. We were talking when the question came out of nowhere.

"Have you made your choice yet."

I stopped walking and it went silent.

"Zarina, are you okay? I'm sorry if my question offended you."

"No, I haven't. Koda, I don't know what to do, please help me."

Koda sighed, " I'm sorry Zarina, but this is a decision that only you can make."

"But Koda, I don't know what to do." Koda licked my cheek.

"Follow your heart, I know you'll make the right choice."

"Thanks Koda."

"Did you know that if you decided on giving Karina the thrown then Coltan would be come the king if they got married?"
