I s2g there are like a list of certain names/actresses that are off limit all because a really popular story has it
I read a book once and the girls name was Tessa and there were literally like 7 thousand comments like "TESSA!!!??!?? HESSA HESSA AFTER I LOVE AFTEER TESSA I WANT TO HAVE A THREESOME WITH HESSA."

If I made a new book and the first comment I got was comparing my book to another one, I would be pretty upset tbh.

This goes with casting too it feels like Indiana Evans is like claimed territory now, unless i search for Indiana Evans, i have never seen a 1d fanfic with her casted as the main girl.
I just feel bad for writers who have an idea for a story but decide not to write it because it has slightly the same plot of another story.
Some people will find anything to compare a story to
the story could have a line like-
So, Dandelion went to the bathroom to take a shit.
and i wouldn't be surprised if someone commented-
"OMG!!! YOU KNOW WHO ELSE GOES TO THE BATHROOM???? TESSA. STOP STEALING FROM ANNA, IM REPORTING THIS."
