Both suffer from extreme PTSD, though obviously for different reasons. Vine has it because of what happened to him, Steven has it because of what he did to his brother. It is not uncommon for the others to wake up to one or both of them screaming and crying in their sleep. The only one who can calm down Steven is Silver, and the only ones who can calm down Vine are Jason and Gale (le OC).
