Steven has a lot of trust issues after the incident involving the trade with his brother. He knows it wasn't Mike's fault, but it broke his heart so much that he still is always afraid of something similar happening again. Even after staying in the mansion for quite a bit, he still only really trusts BEN and Lost Silver.
