It's the weekend, and Yoongi doesn't feel like participating in normal college student activities.
Typically, there's always several parties happening around campus, but he won't be attending any. There's nothing super appealing about a group of adolescents drinking until they vomit or pass out, or a bunch of sweaty, stinky bodies grinding off beat on a makeshift dance floor. He's been invited to several parties, but has kindly rejected each time. Although he is considerably popular on campus, he hasn't ever cared.
The only house parties that he's attended were the ones that Sera forced him into going to. Everytime they had gone, he ended up dragging his disgustingly, intoxicated girlfriend out before she embarrassed herself too bad. He was more like a chaperone than a boyfriend.
Looking back now, he's not sure why he bothered doing all of that for her. Those same nights, he'd suffer while watching his supposed girlfriend grind against other men in the middle of the host's living room. There were even a couple occassions that he'd catch her in the middle of a make out session with a drunken, random joe. Whenever he'd confront her about it later, she'd make the excuse that she was too drunk to know the difference between the loser and Yoongi.
Ah, Kang Sera. That's another situation Yoongi's more than okay with avoiding. At this point the two aren't really dating. She constantly calls and sends text messages, but Yoongi ignores a majority of them. She follows him around campus, but he's shown a lot of obvious disinterest. He's curious as to how long she'll keep this up until she finally snaps, but honestly, he could care less anymore.
Thinking about his horrible experiences with college frat parties and Kang Sera makes him glad to be in the comfort of his shared dorm room, working on his music.
Music is his favorite outlet, which makes sense as to why he wants to be a music producer. He has always had a love for all kinds of music, but his favorite is hip hop. Right now, he's working on a hip hop piece. It has a basic, steady beat, with an intricate melody. He's so zoned out on mixing sounds and tones, that he doesn't notice his roomate enter their dorm.
"It's sounding good."
Yoongi jumped, spinning around in his desk chair, his eyes wide.
"Hoseok, you just scared the shit out of me!" The startled hyung quickly paused his track.
"Sorry man." The younger chuckled. "So are you done cooping yourself in here, or are you going to come out and actually get some sun for once?" he teased.
Yoongi scrunched his nose at the idea of leaving the safe confines of their room. "Im good." He swiveled back around in his desk chair, turning his attention on his music again.
Hoseok wasn't having it. He abruptly spun the blonde's chair around another time and made himself eye level with the smaller male. "Nuh-uh hyung. You need to get out. You've been acting all depressed and sad for a few months now, and it's really starting to depress me. Let loose for once! Namjoon and I are going out and you should come with. All I'm asking for is tonight. I'll leave you alone the rest of week. Pinky promise."
