Stepping out of the cab that was so kind to bring me from all the way from the airport, to my destination now. I looked around at the familiar house that I visited only a few times with my loving sister Bella.

     "Bella"

I remember when she left home to come stay with her Dad. I missed her dearly, and I'm so glad I will be staying with them for a good while.

"I can't believe you could be so reckless Ilthyia."

Laying my right free hand on my stomach, to try and calm my nerves as I walked up the three steps leading to the door.

"We can't afford this problem !"

Starring at the door, that used to give me so much happiness to knock on.
Now, all I feel was a deep regret for even being here. I have no idea as to how long I stood there, starring, hoping, praying, and sweating. Until...
"Oh! You're here early" proclaimed a males voice behind me. Turning around to see none other than Charlie, Bella's dad. Looking at me with a huge smile.
Although his face held joy, his eyes told a different story.

"Pack your bags, you are going to stay with Bella and her dad until all of this is over."

I could see he held a bit of pity, and disappointment behind those dark brown eyes.
"Hey Charlie.." i said in a weak voice. Trying to hide the shaking of my body as he looked at where my right hand rested.
"How are you holding up kiddo?" He asked grabbing my suitcase out of my left hand, and picking up my other one I left sitting on the ground.
I felt my eyes start to burn, as a tear slipped.
"I'm sorry.." was all I could say.

"Charlie has offered to let you stay with him til all this passes. Just know you are going to be a huge burden to him."

"Hey...no need to be sorry. This is not all your fault Kiddo." Charlie said setting down my suitcases and bringing me into a hug.
I felt my tears begin to flow freely now as I hugged back for dear life.
This...this was the kind of love I never felt before. Not from my mom, nor my own dad. It felt good to finally feel the parently love. Even though Charlie wasn't my dad, he sure as heck was more of one than Phil.
"How about you go inside, get freshened up, and we go to a diner and get some food ? I know you must be starving" Charlie said taking a quick look at my stomach, then back at me.
This caused me to smile, of course after realizing the little joke about starving. I started to laugh a little.
"Okay, that sounds amazing." I replied walking inside with him.
Walking up to my old room Charlie had kept for me. I could feel a wave of emotions flowing through me, as childhood memories ran through my head. I looked at all the family pictures we had handing on my wall, along with Christmas lights to give a little more decoration to the room.
Setting my suitcase on my bed to look for a whole new outfit, I began to feel a bit sick. Hurrying to the nearest restroom. I immediately threw up all the food I had eaten that morning.
Sitting back, I flushed the toilet, brought my knees to my chess and began to let loss a bunch of held back tears.

"You aren't keeping it. You better either get rid of it now, or give it up for adoption. You aren't going to ruin my life anymore than you have "

"I can't keep doing this to myself" i mumbled to myself. Getting up I went to rinse my mouth out, and put a peppermint in to refresh my breathe.

After I finished getting ready, I walked down stairs to see Charlie patiently waiting for me with a smile.
"Hey there, you ready to go ?" He asked getting up. I smiled before nodding my head to show that I was.
The drive to the diner wasn't too quiet, nor was it awkward. It felt much better than the drive with my parents to the airport. I shuttered at the thought, glad Charlie didn't notice.
Once we arrived, I felt a smile form on my face. Bella and I used to spend our summer days getting milkshakes from this exact diner. I wonder if that one old women who used to always serve us those milkshakes with the most wide smile, was still here.
'Mrs. Faith' That was her name. The memories the three of us shared here, caused my heart to be filled with so much joy.

"Where's Bella ?" I finally asked as we sat down to look over the menu. Me, already knowing what I wanted, put the menu down to look at Charlie.
I saw a bit of hesitation in his expression, before he began to speak.
"Well, she's with Jacob at the moment." He said deciding wether or not to continue. Seemed like he decided to continue, because what he said next took me by surprise.
"She started disappearing to hang with Jacob recently. After her boyfriend, and his family ditched her in the woods." Charlie finished with a sigh, while taking a sip of his sill very hot coffee. To which he ended up burning his mouth, and making a 'ouch'  sound. I couldn't help but laugh as he looked away a tad bit embarrassed.
Although Charlie kept me plenty busy with conversations, and my food as well keeping me satisfied. I couldn't help but start to worry about Bella. I know how she felt too. Once my boyfriend found out the big news, him and his parents ditched me just like that.

After we got back to the house, I showered and decided to head to bed. Too tired from the last few days to even fully dress myself......
