Beth POV
I noticed that Daan was a completely different person at the training than she was at home. At home she was a sweet, caring and cute girl and at the training she was really energetic, fanatic and serious at the same time. It isn't a negative thing but just something I noticed.
When we were done training, we headed to the showers. I realized that I would see Daan naked and in some kind a way it was different than with the other girls. I undressed and grabbed my shampoo, Daan was nowhere to be found. After a few minutes she came walking in all naked and I couldn't help but stare at her. -Gosh Beth don't stare, that's so rude. But I can't help it, she is seriously perfect. Every part, no every inch, of her body is perfect.-
She caught me staring "Did you look at it closely enough?" I turned into a tomato right away, I had never been more embarrassed in my entire life. I noticed a scar on her knee and asked where she got it from, trying my best to look just at her face and not her body. She answered: "I tore my cruciate ligaments a few years ago and then I had to undergo surgery, but I kinda like it now, it looks really badass." I laughed at her and finished my shower, still couldn't help but peek at her body.
When we got home Lisa started cooking and after about 20 minutes we sat down at the kitchen table. After that we were kinda bored and Daan came up with a idea
D: "What if we asked girls to go get some drinks at the club right around the corner?"
V: "That sounds like a great idea, I'm in for a party"
L: "Couldn't agree more!"
I hesitated
D: "Beff, you alright with this too?"
B: "Well I'm new here so I don't wanna make a bad impression with the staff and Joe."
V: "I get that, but we do this often and as long as we get fit and healthy at the training center, there's no problem."
L: "Besides training tomorrow is delayed because Joe his wife has the fever."
B: "Alright than, let's call the other girls"
We called the other girls, not all of them joined but Emma, Jill, Leah, Katie and Jordan were in. They would arrive in about an hour at our house. We went upstairs and changed, Daan was standing in front of her closet and couldn't decide what to wear "Lisaaaaaa, can you come to my roooom" she yelled. I was a bit surprised that she didn't just ask me -Omg maybe she doesn't like my clothes, no wayy. I mean there's nothing wrong with my clothes right? Omg Beth stop already, you're making yourself crazy!-
While Daan was discussing with Lisa what to wear, I grabbed a black dress and some heals out of the closet. A bit basic but I thought i'd cheer it up with some jewellery, I went to the bathroom to put it on and when I got back I saw Daan, dressed in a cute grey dress with high heals and her hair curled, she looked absolutely stunning. She turned around "Looking nice Beff" I blushed "You don't look so bad yourself either" Viv walked into the room "the other girls are already downstairs, let's go."
When we arrived at the club, we had to go trough security. They let everybody in except Daan, she had to show her passport, all the girls laughed when the securityguard found out that she was already 28. Daan looked at the man and deadass said: "I'll take that as a compliment, thank you" and we all laughed. "She really left him speechless" I said, Leah laughed "She has that kinda influence on a lot of men." -Wait hold up what?! She was into women right? Maybe men are interested in her and not the other way around. I'll just let it be for the time-being-
After a few drinks we all hit the dancefloor, Lisa took my hand and started spinning me around. We were switching dancepartner after dancepartner; Lisa, Emma, Leah, Viv, Jordan, Katie, I had danced with all of them except for Daan. I was scamming the room with my eyes and suddenly I saw Daan dancing with a random dude. -It looks like they're flirting, no way, that's not possible right?- I saw their heads moving closer to one another and eventually saw their lips connect. Right than, at that time, I knew that I was in love with Daniëlle van de Donk, the girl I could never have. I could tell by the way I reacted, I was frustraded and sad. I thought she said to me that she's into women, although she never really said she wasn't into men. Slowly the world started spinning and suddenly everything turned black.
I opened my eyes slowly and saw Katie leaning over me
K: "Omg, I think she's waking up!"
E: "Really, can I see?"
K: "Yeah, look her eyes are blinking."
V:"Give her some space, she just fainted!"
E: "Sorry, I was just curious"
B: "Wha-, what happened?"
L: "Hey, you fainted about 10 minutes ago. Are you hurt somewhere? Does this happen often?"
B: "Just my back is hurting a little and no I've never fainted before."
I was laying on a couch and slowly got up, Lisa helped me. When finally sat down I looked at the girls "Where's Daan though? I need to talk to her." The girls all looked to the ground and eventually Viv said: "We haven't seen her for a while, but I think she left with some guy. We aren't sure so Jordan and Leah are looking for her." I nodded "That's alright." I really wanted to cry at that moment, just disappear for a little while, maybe go home even. Just away, away from the whole situation. "Let's go home, you need some rest" Lisa said, Viv nodded. We went to the car, said goodbye to the girls and headed home.
I immediately headed to bed, without saying a word to Lisa and Viv. When I got into the room, Daan was nowhere to be found. I quickly changed and brushed my teeth. I lay down in bed, but I wasn't able to sleep. In my head I kept seeing Daan and the guy kiss in front of me and made up all kind of scenarios. After hours of tossing, I finally fell asleep. Daan still had not come home.
